The room was very hot when we arrived in the evening. Had to wait for AC to cool it. Then someone across the hall decided to stink up the hallway with smoking some pot in a non-smoking hotel. First floor button in elevator completely broken out. Difficult to get to first floor with no button. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is clean- just older. Front desk person had several complaints about the pot smell and was trying to figure out which room. For the price we paid, we did not get our moneys worth and won’t stay here again.

The hotel was okay. I expected it to be nicer for what I paid. The room was mostly clear. There were some areas that needed to cleaned better and repaired. The breakfast was standard. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly. The lemon water thas was provided in the lobby was a thoughtful touch. The hotel was fairly quiet and had a great location. The pool was too cold for me to swim and there was no hot tub. I did have higher hopes for what I paid for this place. But I would consider coming back.

Shawn checked me and my husband in last night and helped us making reservations for a nearby restaurant for dinner and even gave us directions to get there. Our room was clean and great. We enjoyed staying here. We will definitely come back and stay again when we are traveling through Wichita.

I would say that we got a pretty good value for the price. We were traveling cross country, so this was just a stop over. Check in at night, leave the next morning. But the room was good sized and it was clean. I did not eat breakfast but my husband said the food was good and it was hot. The hotel is not a gem but for the price, we were happy and would stay again. The pool was not operational, but we wouldn't have used it anyway. The elevator was old and really small; that needs an update. Otherwise, really no complaints. Like I said before, if you want a good room and a reasonable price, for a quick stop over, I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel on a regular basis for the last 10 years. Earlier this month, I was asleep in my room and had two men try to open the door at 3:30am. They tried for several minutes. They had a key that worked, fortunately I had the safety latch and deadbolt locked. I had to threaten to call the police before they stopped. I called the front desk and the clerk said it was a mistake. She was very nervous when I pressed for a better explanation. I am not certain this was an accident. It felt like a setup for who knows what. The general manager and the Choice Hotels corporate headquarters have been unresponsive to my request for what corrective actions will be taken in the future. That being said, I will never stay at this location again. FYI, the new ownership has taken the step of only keeping one light bulb in lamps that use two bulbs which creates a dark room. They have also reduced the brightness on the TV's making it difficult to watch. Do not stay here! This hotel is UNSAFE!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Customer Service is at it's worst here! This "hotel" should not even have the name Comfort Inn! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had at ANY hotel I've stayed at through-out my business career and beyond! Involved in a snow storm in Kansas, no electricity in our home, called to make a reservation with the 800 number on-line, made the reservation for our room at 4:29. At 4:45 our electricity was restored! I called back to cancel the reservation. Was told the General Mgr, named John Meice had gone home for the evening. Front desk employee called him and was told he would not approve the cancelation! What?!? I was told that their policy was that they require reservations to be canceled prior to 4:00pm... even though I didn't make the reservation until 4:29! The worst part of this whole mess is that I spoke directly with the Gen. Mgr. the next morning and he was as disrespectful as they come! He insisted that he was not going to approve a cancelation on this reservation... period! Blaming it on the on-line third party reservation company! IF YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO GET GREAT SERVICE AT THIS COMFORT INN, THINK AGAIN! AND THEN THINK ANOTHER TIME!

One of our main reasons for choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. When we arrived, there was an issue with the door into the pool area. Room keys wouldn't work to operate the door, so hotel staff had to let us in each time. Also, something was wrong with the heat. The water was ice cold. We were told they were working on it, but it would have taken HOURS to fully heat that much water. How long had the heat been off? Why hadn't someone been checking the pool throughout the day? Breakfast was good with lots of options, but they started picking up early without making sure we were finished.

Very nice hotel with an indoor pool- friendly staff- my room was clean and spacious and I appreciated that they had a working luggage cart to be able to move my luggage to and from my room without having to make more than 1 trip! I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and appreciated that they had a bench outside to enjoy some fresh air! Thank you Comfort Inn East Staff for having me- You'll are much appreciated -
