This was an older building that was not over clean. Breakfast was basic and the food area was clean.

Room was not very clean
The staff was very nice. Only had a cold beverage with waffles. No hot food. Beds were comfortable. Room was not very clean. There were stains on the sheets and also on the duvet. The walls and ceiling had dirty spots. Needs an upgrade

The room we reserved was spacious and had a quiet heating/cooling system. The desk was large. Enjoyed the window seat. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.
The complimentary breakfast was adequate, but only hot item was a waffle. The bathroom needed updated tub/shower and toilet. But still adequate.

Upon first entering our room, it smelled very musty, moldy. We had to shut off the air conditioner because I felt like it was just pumping this moldy air into our room. Our bathroom was dirty. Cracked tiles and crud on the floor. The sink was missing the stopper so you just looked it down into a dirty drain as you brushed your teeth. The ceiling and walls were so thin I thought the people above were going to come through our ceiling. In the evenings, the people who run the hotel would sit in the lobby, barefoot and one night one of the workers was picking at his toes in the Lobby. I understand I am looking for an affordable hotel, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Really in the middle of nowhere. Never will come back to Iowa but thank you for the pleasant experience and help. Couldn’t get a Lyft to save my life from there. If I do for any reason end up in AMES, IA I will definitely stay at mircotel. Thank you so much Trooper Joseph Long. This was a fun trip. See you soon!!

Kudos to the staff, room could have been better.
- I noticed the floor was a bit sticky, and when wearing socks the bottom of the socks was discolored.
- Breakfast is not the "full fare", but I guess I should have researched that. They did have hard boiled eggs, but sometimes I would get one that was quite old.
- The staff was great. I had a problem with my door, and it wound up to be a problem with the lock mechanism. The staff had to unlock the door each time I had to get into the room, and the staff was quick and very friendly to get it open.
- But then again, the lock had a problem which required changing a battery. That got the lock working for 24 hours, but then the lock stopped working all together. The repair would take days - well past the time I would be leaving.
- I was not expecting a high end hotel. It is an excellent value for the price, door lock problems not withstanding. I didn't think it was necessary to get mad at the staff - they were doing their very best to be sure I was happy, satisfied, and safe.

这是一家还算可以的酒店。当我们进入房间时，房间非常潮湿，床单也因为潮湿而湿漉漉的。早餐就是欧陆式早餐，感觉不值那个差价。
