I booked a deluxe room with a queen bed. Was given a room with 2 full beds instead. The room was gross. ***** hair on the toilet. Tv was on when we entered the room as if someone had been in there. Blood spots on the sheets. Felt extremely uncomfortable right away and didnt want to stay. We decided it was just for the night and to suck it up, knowing Motel 6 in general doesnt have the best reputation, but was all that was available in the vicinity we were looking to stay for the night (unless we had $500 + to fork over for a room for one night) Until... i looked over and saw a cockroach crawling on the headboard of the bed. We hadnt even been in there 5 minutes and that was the what did it for me. I went to the front desk and told the guy id like a refund, because for $97, I thought there'd be some sensible standards and i was not about to sleep with roaches and risk bringing them home. He said he cant do that. Best he could do is give me $15 back. Im still beside myself. I have pictures. We left and found a hotel 20 miles away from where we actually wanted to stay, and i still havent even received my $15. A complete joke!!

When we got to the room, the lights were on, the curtain was open, and the TV was on. We walked in, and the floorboards were coming up off the ground. Exposed wiring was behind the bed. The bed sheets looked like they had not been changed or washed in weeks. The bedsheet had burn holes, and I found glass in the bed. The bathroom was disgusting, and the wall was chipping away along with the tile in the shower. When we went to the office to tell them about it, they said, "I'm sorry you are displeased!" We ended up having to get a completely different hotel.

Room was a not clean, popcorn on the floor, door lock didn't work, bathroom shower was nasty hair and some black stuff all over the room, and we was given a space heater for our room.

I expect more for my $186.00 dollars

The staff was wonderful. There was a problem with the heat so the woman that checked me in brought a room heater for me. The tail lights on my car would not shut off. I phoned the office to see if they could recommend someone that I could call for help. The woman sent the maintenance man. I explained that there was a switch which operates the tail lights and told him where it is located. I couldn't reach it. He located it, turned the switch to turn off the lights, and then zip tied it in place. Problem solved until I can take it to a garage for a permanent fix. Both the woman who checked me in and the one who checked me out were very pleasant, smiled, and made me feel welcomed. But my room was filthy. Floors, counters, the floor in the shower, and the mirror looked like they had not been cleaned for months. There were no blankets on the beds, not even one wash cloth. I wonder if the room had not been used for a long time because there was dust on almost every thing. I found a dirty sock crammed in a corner on one of shelves, bits of paper and a few shards of plastic on the floor and dust in the corners. To be fair, maybe this room is not used often. I upgraded to a room with a microwave and refrigerator for my medical needs. So maybe? housekeeping wasn't notified to have that room clean?? I was in town for a family funeral and didn't want to put family members out during this time of grief. But I am glad that I was there for only 2 nights.
