Friendly staff and clean room. However my room smelled very musty. It had rained a lot so I am guessing why is smelled musty. Overall not a bad stay.

Loved the staff who both greeted us and was there to check us out. Didn’t catch her name but believe she said her hometown was a little town near Ft. Wayne.
Our room even though close to laundry, front desk and breakfast area was pleasantly quiet.
Hotel room smelled a little damp was our only dissatisfactory item.

Very nice to have a Bob Evans and Wendy's very close. Can also walk to Big Lots and Goodwill across the street. Very convenient place to stay if you are trying to find the WV Mothman!

Great location.. Bob evans restaurant next door.. Walmart 5 minutes away tops … silver bridge memorial and park with in 5 minutes of hotel… very quiet well maintained had a little problem with ants but that’s just nature after all the rain. No one’s fault

I went to the Mothman Festival on 9/20/25 and picked this hotel due to the closeness to the Festival. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. There is a Bob Evans restaurant on the property which made it easy to walk to dinner both nights. If I was in the area again, I would stay in this hotel.

We usually don't stay at a Motel 8, we were pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness and friendly staff.
