Scary area. Lots of people outside fighting.
The hotel was not in good condition. The room had an attempt to be clean but carpet was sticky and bed linens old and stained. Lots of angry people living in the hotel yelling at each other outside the building. The door to get up the stairs to get to rooms was broken. Lots of problems.

My room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was the worst hotel stay i’ve had in 20 years. The bathroom needs to be updated as well. The rug also looked dirty in spots. I would not encourage anyone to stay at this property.

I felt completely unsafe — had to leave after 30 minutes
I booked this hotel based on the photos, but the reality was shockingly different. The pictures are absolutely misleading — the hotel looks nothing like them. The lobby is bare, dirty, and falling apart. There are no plants or decor, just a run-down space that feels neglected. The hallways outside were filthy, and the overall area felt extremely unsafe.
There were people smoking right outside the building, and although we booked a non-smoking room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. The sheets, while changed, had burn holes in them. The security latch on the door didn’t work properly, which made me feel even more vulnerable — especially because I was traveling with my 4-year-old child.
To make things worse, there was an active police presence inside and outside the hotel. I was told someone’s phone had been stolen, but the entire atmosphere was unsettling.
This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. We ended up leaving just 30 minutes after checking in because I did not feel safe staying there with my child. Spend your money elsewhere — this hotel is not worth the risk.

Hotel was very run down. No elevator service. We absolutely didn't feel safe with the area and guests that were residing there.
