If my room (a suite) is any indication of the other rooms, this property needs a complete overhaul. Carpet is worn and dirty, light fixtures are at least 20 years old, and the bathroom is also dated. Too bad; this is a good location.

Mattress okay. Water hot. Noisy heat/air conditioning. needs new plumbing fixtures. Really lousy breakfast, dirty tables in dining area, ridiculous trash can, HORRIBLE coffee (if you want to call it that). Staff was friendly, helpful, and nice. I can only conclude that the Choice group of hotels (owners) are just really CHEAP when it comes to providing anything of real "Quality" to their guests.

Room was cleanish, but the room and property are outdated and in dire need of a remodel. The carpet was so old and in need of replacement that I would not take my shoes off except in bed. Lobby also outdated and screaming for an upgrade. No complaints about staff, but would not choose this hotel again, especially at this price.

It put a roof over me and my son’s head for 12hrs
Checked in…remote wasn’t working. Opened it and find battery has been in there forever just by looking at the powdery stuff. Fridge needs to be defrosted. There was a hole in the bathroom door, only seen from inside the bathroom. Looked like a fist went through it. Rug is dirty. Room seems like it has not been occupied in a long time. With the hotel being down the street from the university, I was expecting it to be cleaner. Came back late and another customer flagged me and said don’t bother checking in and that he was leaving to drive 3hrs to go back home. He also said he changed rooms 3times.

Property needs a facelift, but you can tell the friendly/ helpful staff is trying very hard to keep things afloat. Nothing really to speak of immediately around the property, but everything one needs is a short drive away. Pleasant/safe stay.
