I booked online not knowing the area well. When we got there, we were a little worried as the area just seemed sketchy. Once we checked in and ventured down the hallway, every door was stained, worn and just rundown. The rooms were sparely furnished, everything smelled of cigarette smoke. The entire facility gave me the creeps -- we turned around and checked out without unpacking. Did not receive a refund.

When booking a 2-night stay online, I was charged once, then charged again at check-in for double the price. On top of that, I was required to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit for my registered service dog, despite offering proof of registration and asking for clarification.
The room itself was in poor condition—dirty walls with food and other substances on them, and cockroaches present. At one point, my room keys stopped working, and I had to go to the front desk to get them reactivated.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Between the overcharging, the improper service dog fee, and the unsanitary conditions, I cannot recommend staying here.

You get what you pay for. The only renovations are in the lobby. They have the thinnest towels I’ve ever seen at a hotel. We had to get our room key cards figured out daily because they would stop working after 24 hours. The staff would get upset when we would ask to switch out towels. I got double charged for my stay. The best part was the convenience of the hotel.

The room smelled of smoke and mildew.
There was remnants of mold in the bathroom.
I was in my room for less than an hour and found somewhere else to stay for the night.

A nightmare. Cleaning solutions and covered up stink was horrible. Really nasty. The website said it is pet-friendly. The desk attendant said that pets are not allowed so I had no room. He barely spoke english, offered no apology for the confusion, offered no help, no suggestions. Just said, "No pets allowed" with a blank stare. Thank goodness I have a friend in town where I could go and regroup and find another hotel. Super 8 should be ashamed to have this hotel in their chain. Very ashamed. I didn't realize Super 8s were so nasty. I will never, ever book one again.
