Breakfast was suppose to be at 630am. Few of us were down there was told wasn’t til 7am. The hotel doors slam shut very hard and loud. There are no plugs right next to bed or usb/c chargers for phones or other electronics. Not enough lighting in the bathroom. ******* charged me $160 for the room and when I got my receipt, they told me their rate was only 140 so you guys actually charge me more and that wasn’t including the $20 for incidentals as a deposit so 160+20 my receipt says 140

Used to be great
This hotel has been our choice when visiting family in Kalamazoo. This stay was disappointing: the towels were worn and dingey; the sheets were worn with holes on the edges; the comforter had dirty spots and was soiled and grimy on the edges; the curtains’ hardware was broken making it a challenge to close them. I’m not sure we will give them another chance.

My stay was last week from July 26-28. The night shift front desk were wonderful. The maintenance was friendly. The daytime staff needs improvement. My toddler wet the bed and I asked to get the bed sheets changed out only to return to our room at 11:30pm without a soul passing into our room to freshen it up and remake the bed with clean sheets. They had 12 hours to do that task so I wasn't thrilled. We were given a stack of fresh sheets and towels by the very nice front desk staff member, but then I had to make the bed up myself.

Great Stay in Kalamazoo
Building is lovely and well kept. My only question was why there was not any room cleaning after the second night stay. No garbage pickup or towel change out at all. Initially when I looked online at the hotel details it showed daily room service. This was disappointing. Also it would have been nice to have some recommendations of local food Venus.
