It’s difficult to keep an older property looking new and polished. It’s clear the staff is doing everything they can but the property is in desperate need of some serious work. The tub in my room is missing porcelain, and the sink has several major cracks. I spent three nights on the property. The couch in my room, which makes into a bed has cushions that need to be replaced with stains and patchwork. The room has missing lightbulbs or bulbs that need to be replaced because they don’t work. The staff is kind and helpful.

Don't Stay here

We stayed here for a softball tournament. So we stayed from Friday night check-in and Sunday morning Check-out. I must say the check-in/Check-out was easy due to the front desk clerk. She was the only positive part of this stay. We stayed in room 104. As soon as we opened the door the room had a horrible order. The floors were dirty and the bathroom odor was worse than the room. The chair and ottoman in the room were nasty. We wouldn't even sit on the chair. The bathroom floor was just as dirty as the room floor. To get mask the smell we had to buy room deodorizer and spray the room. I went to take a shower and I was greeted by dead cockroaches. A used bar of soap was left in the shower. The fan in the bathroom the motor was burnt up and it left a smell and the cover to it was leaned up on the wall. Seems to me the room service needs to be double checked behind. I showered with flip flops. To my surprise the bed was very clean and comfortable. The side tables were sticky from what looked like food. The breakfast Saturday morning we didn't get to try due to the front desk clerk having to prepare because the person over this called in. This morning we go in for breakfast and there is plenty. The bad part is the person in charge of the breakfast was rude. She was flirting with a guest and complained about the other guest. She was mad to have to do her job and complaining about, "These Damn People" meaning the guest. I could go on but not enough space

CLEAN IT UP

I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and not properly working features. The bathroom faucet splashes water everywhere needs a washer, on it there was no toilet seat cover. Upon entering the hotel smells like the washers are stale and spoiled. There were bugs in the room. I was not able to secure valuables in the safe. The shower curtain was not appropriate for the shower rod; water was all over the floor. The curtains did not close all the way had to get clips from the front desk to close them. The trash cans everywhere were overflowing and towels left on the ground in the hallway tacky. Room not very clean can use better care. The water line to the toilet is rusted and mold around the base of the tub. The ONE nightly staff was very friendly Kelly and did ask if someone had come to fix the problems as she did leave word of the problems but could not give me another room as they were allegedly sold out. When checking out I spoke to the clerk about the issues and the "Manager" sat right there and did not say a word and when I asked her was she the manager she replied yes and I said to her so you have nothing to say and her response was you already said you were going to call corporate so I let the clerk handle it?? She did not care needs retraining immediately as I could have been from corporate there to see how they handle situations she did not have any concern??

Good place to stay!

We had a good day! I would definitely stay here again. We were here for a softball tournament and this location was perfect distance from the field with plenty of restaurants and store surrounding it. The pool area looked nice, but we didn’t have time to use it. The continental breakfast was fine. The front desk people were friendly and prompt. The only thing was the shower curtain. Wouldn’t close up on either side. Just the way the bar was hanging didn’t allow for it to close. Wasn’t a big deal. Just had to put some towels down so that the floor didn’t get soaked. The shower pressure was excellent! :) beds were comfy and we slept well

Quick trip for baseball tournament

Room was nice. A/C unit leaked water on the floor and was not able to cool the room well. Staff was friendly. Lots of noise from I -35. Bed was comfortable, internet worked well, and room was clean.
