Great place to stay!
Our stay was great! The front desk gal, Susan went above and beyond to help us and keep things orderly. She was the cherry on top of our stay. The room was clean and cozy. Even tho it was blazing hot outside the ice machine kept up great. The pool was clean and welcoming. We would 100% stay at Quality inn, in Deridder again, no question.

Person at front desk required my staff to get cash out of the loby ATM and pay $100 for each room at checkin on top of what was already paid online. They said that my staff would get it back in the morning at checkput. Seams very sketchy since this is the first time i have heard of a hotel doing this. This should have been disclosed upon paying for the room in the first place.

Overpriced & even tho it looked fairly new, the floor felt dirty. I kept rinsing off my feet every time I walked on the carpet & there would be black in the water. The staff was rude, nosy, and passive aggressive. I got there to check in, I was in town for a DOUBLE funeral, lost 2 of my close family members at the same time. I was in shambles on the inside & didn't want to speak much about anything other than checking in. I know it's a small town but the staff needs to learn to READ THE ROOM, if someone wants to be left alone & doesn't seem like they want to be bothered then don't pry. I wasn't going to leave a bad review tho, until they called my hotel room phone exactly TEN MINUTES before checkout (yes I was looking at the clock right next to the room phone as well as the clock on my phone) as I was trying to get out the door. I had my bags all loaded up in my hands and the door was wide open & I was one foot out the door when the room phone rang. So I put all my stuff back down that was already loaded up on my arms, to answer their annoying invasive passive-aggressive phone call, like yes I was on the way down with my key & it's still before checkout time. I paid for the room until checkout time (overpaid), I think it's super rude to call guests 10 minutes BEFORE checkout time. I worked in customer service for many years & even managed a resort, & would never condone pestering or pressuring guests to leave earlier than their scheduled checkout time.

Nice and cleans, was a bit expensive but you have to pay that to stay in a decent place anymore. I did have people smoking **** right outside my room in front of my window and AC unit a couple times.

Room was great. Service was excellent. My only suggestion is the bed frame. I makes a weird noise if you move around alot, which I do. It actually sounds like thunder crashing. I believe it's the thin boxspring.
