Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Room smelled a little musty and was missing ice bucket but it was a comfortable stay with a great view! Beds and pillows really comfortable.

We only tried the hot water which tasted like coffee as brewed tea and the coffee tasted burnt. One bed had a foot print on the bedspread which was white and it seemed like the the room had not been vacuumed. Also the shower was hard to turn on and ran hot and think it required a new shower control cylinder. Not sure I would stay at this hotel as we stayed two nights and the cost was doubled due to family weekend for Marquette University. Please note I called the motel to add a second night as the ******* website only booked one night for queen beds with availability and was able to switch to two nights with full beds. The pop machines were broke and vending machines not filled. We had a group of guys above us that were loud the first night and not sure if they were playing a game or watching a sporting event. The lobby and hallways appeared to be clean. Parking was good and felt safe in motel and lot.

Not much character in the buildings. Felt like I was at camp when I walked in. We left a day earlier than expected to travel elsewhere because I just wasn’t “vibing” with the area.

The highway is noisy at all hours so we didn’t sleep with the windows open.

Staff was amazing. The propert looked sketchy to us. Too many people outside looked like long term residents. We would not stay again because of that. The veiw was of the parking lot. Lake is across the road.

There are no elevators on the property. I actually upgraded to a lake view room. Which put me on the second floor. I did not know there was no elevators. I have a bad back. My poor wife had to lug all of luggage up to the room. There is no central air/heating. There is a window heater which blast out heat when it goes below the set temperature. Considering the cost per night it is outrageous properly.
