We decided to stay here due to reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the king bed was comfy. They offered a variety of pillows which was nice! If they are too thick, one just has to untuck the end and shake it good. Problem solved. NOTE: The only downside was the night clerk , changed us from handicap accessible to a regular room without asking first. I did not want to make a fuss, so we accepted it. I have PSa and a handicap room is such a help to me.
One review complained about not being upgraded to a suite. If you want this, then do not book online call the hotel and book directly. Then ask for an upgrade at the desk. Online booking CAN NOT be changed.
Someone also complained: Water smelling like sulfur. Yes, it does and NO it is not contaminated. There are no lakes in this area to gather water. This city and others around it run off well water. YES, it is treated and you should smell it before it is treated. Not nice.
It is okay to drink and bathe in and no you do not smell like sulfur after a shower, just soap.
Speaking of which, they offer a lovely specialty soap to bathe with and Dove shampoo conditioner and lotion.

The front desk employees are great. The beds are hard as a rock. The rooms are clean, just hard to sleep for those of us used to plush pillow top mattress.

The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was very nice to have after a day of cleaning out a house. James and Michelle were awesome. They were very sociable and helpful for my stay.

Elevator was slow and barely moving. Dirty floors in room and bathroom. Found a pill on the floor! Found chicken on the floor. Bathroom floor was dirty. A/C was dirty. I have pictures!! I’ll never stay at this property again and I’ll never recommend it to anyone!

The toilet in our room was filthy- like someone had piled in it and not cleaned it up. The air conditioning didn’t work very well. There was a hole in the ceiling and clearly unrepaired water damage which made me concerned for mold. I am not even sure the beds were queen size because they didn’t seem to fit on their frames properly. The staff was dressed sloppily. Overall, would never stay here again.

The location was convenient to Tarleton University. There were several restaurants nearby. However, our room's ac leaked water (condensation) so we had to put a towel down. My wife almost slipped on a very large puddle the first morning there. The room was comfortable however, the bathroom needed some repairs. There were gaps in the shower tile where it met with the bathroom wall. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The room was clean. The fridge in our room did not work. The water only got to warm, never hot, which made showering pretty miserable. The staff were very sweet.
