We stay at this hotel multiple times during the fall because it is only 30 minutes away from Virginia Tech where we attend all the home football games. It is centrally located, and there are many restaurants and other businesses nearby. We are very familiar with the area.

This property is very average I'd not slightly below average. First impression the glass in the entry were filthy! Shrubs needed trimmed and the whole place needed tidied up. Breakfast would meet bare minimum standards. Room was clean in most places. There are many motels in the area and I would look elsewhere the next time I'm in town

I booked the 2nd night after my husband booked the 1st night, several months before college graduation event in the area. When we checked in, we let them know that two bookings are related. They promised that we can stay in the same room for the 2nd night. The following day, after we attended the graduation events and return to hotel around 10pm, our room key did not work anymore. At front desk, we found that all our personal belongings have been stuffed into a trash bag, waiting for us to pick up at the front. We were so surprised because they have committed to us staying in the same room. I have a valid booking reservation through Booking, which I confirmed. We complained to the manager (Shree Jay Swami?) that they should have called my husband before throwing our personal belongings out of the room like this. Instead of apologizing to us for this error on hotel side, he blamed us for making separate reservations. Furthermore, he threatened that he had the right to cancel my reservation made through Booking for the 2nd night (even though it was after 10pm on the same night), at any time. We decided not to argue with him but staying in the hotel for the 2nd night, after collecting our personal items. We were assigned the same room as the prior night. We noticed that there were no soaps in the bathroom and requested it over phone. Yet they never delivered the soap during our stay. We noticed that the fridge still had the food we left from prior night so the cleaning person did not clean the fridge at all. Both night, I noticed some small insects crawling in the bathroom. I was wondering if they have changed the bed sheet for the 2nd night, at that point. At that point, I was praying for safety and texted our relatives. We only wanted to survive the night safely, after the very aggressive and rude treatment by the manager (middle aged, with Indian accent). I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

We had a major event in the area and we were late to look for a hotel. This was the only hotel available when we were looking. We found out it was for good reason. When we checked in, the front desk person hardly spoke English. We got into our room and found out there was no soap in the bathroom. I called front desk and asked for it. Someone picked up and quickly hung up on me. We never got the soap. The bathtub was clearly not cleaned. Still some stuff from previous guests in there :( The bathtub was also partially clogged. Water would not go down quickly and cover our feet when we took shower. Also found leftover food in the fridge from earlier guests. Breakfast ends at 9:30. When we got there at 8:30, the only hot food left was scrambled eggs. There was a tray next to scrambled eggs that had some meat before (we saw the grease at the bottom) but it was empty and they never refilled it. Nobody worked in the breakfast area. No food refill. Only trashcan was very full and we had to push our trash into it. Utensils were those tiny plastic ones. So were those tiny plastic cups (6 oz?). Probably the cheapest ones you can find from Walmart. I only saw them used in daycare. I had never seen paper cups so small for coffee. I guess 6 oz. Orange juice and coffee were highly diluted. You could barely taste it.

Hotel is located right off the interstate. Easy easy access. Outside of building was recently painted. They are pet friendly. There is a field next-door that you can walk your animal. We had a problem, however, they did take care of it. That is a credit to them. Great restaurant next door.

The pillows were big and fluffy so big and fluffy they wouldn't fit in my suitcase lol.Really nice place .Staff was great especially the owner.Breakfast was great as well all in all just a nice place.Not really wanting to write an essay.But here you have it

I arrived early and got to settle in before regular check in, I was in town for a funeral that afternoon. The room was comfortable, cool and just necessary for my short stay. Breakfast was available for my early return home. The location was well suited between Boone’s Mill and Roanoke.

Perfect little hotel for a quick stay. Nothing fancy, just the basics and the price was right as we were heading towards graduation in Blacksburg. Right off 81 and customer service was very good. They also had breakfast which was a plus. Like I said, nothing fancy, just what you need. Very much recommend!
