Staff’s willingness to get creative and find me some food in the midst of Thanksgiving’s afternoon. Only convenience stores and Kroger’s Deli bailed me out of a tight spot!

I had the most terrible experience at this hotel! First off, I want to clarify that neither baby nor I smoke. However, there was a faint smell in the hallway that they accused of coming from my room. Two employees who work there claimed they didn’t smell it in my room, but the “manager” or at least the lady who claimed to be the manager insisted that she could smell it. This was ridiculous because she said the smell was faint, almost non-existent, and then proceeded to kick me out two days before my checkout. I refused to pay $300 after having already paid $260. She was incredibly rude and offered no alternatives. She claimed to have made the final decision and that I was the only person she was allowed to deal with when I asked for a manager. Even two days after I left, she continued to charge my card 27 times, and I had to decline each and every charge. It’s absolutely ridiculous. She was the rudest and nastiest woman I’ve ever met. I will never stay at this hotel again. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I even found three big brown recluse spiders in my room and had to have the night lady kill them for me. The room smelled sour, and the service and quality are not worth the price. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, and I hope you guys fix all of the horrible people and service you provide.

We had a great stay here and would stay again. The room was very clean and comfortable.

They were having trouble with the key cards when we were there but the staff went out of their way to assist us. A little more attention to cleaning the elevator would be welcomed. We would not hesitate to stay here again

We only had one issue and that was they were having trouble with their key cards working. Everything else was good. The people at the front desk were wonderful.

Don’t waste the money here

I don’t think I’d waste money to stay here again. The breakfast was pathetic, our room closet door had a whole that was previously punched through, the pool hasn’t been operational in a long while

I have never left a bad review for a hotel/motel. I feel there can always be extenuating circumstances and I can overlook a few things. However, my experience here needs to be shared for others that may be looking for a place in Batesville. Property around the place was dirty-old chair and a cardboard box for an ashtray was in the parking lot, clothing thrown in the bushes. Very dirty stairwell .Outside door on the end would not open after hours and when I reported it to the front desk, he glanced at it and went back to the desk. Desk staff were not friendly, and definitely not welcoming. Wallpaper was peeling off in the hallway. Our room smelled strongly of garlic?? Carpet was wet from the air conditioner by the bed, several outlets did not work, found an almost used bar of soap in the shower and dirt around the tub and wall ( could scrape it off with a washcloth) Bed was hard , ( I do understand that my personal preference is to not sleep on a hard mattress but others may prefer this) Breakfast was not edible- coffee tasted instant and food was cold and ended up eating at a restaurant during our stay. I travel for work and pleasure and usually stay at Holiday Inn but this was during the Watermelon Festival in July and the prices around town are always inflated. I decided to try this Comfort Suites as it was a little less expensive (still inflated) This review is to give others a heads up before they choose this motel.

musty and ants

We checked in and went to our room. We were hit with a musty damp smell. The AC unit was leaking on the carpet (I guess). It was damp and stinky. So, the front desk moved us to the only other room they had. It was infested with ants. On the table, counter, and night stand. They offered to give me some spray. But, I didn't want to breathe the chemicals.
