Terrific 2 night stay. Appeared room was recently renovated. Immaculately clean. I actually check the floor with a flashlight to be sure there are no dropped pills etc as I travel with show dogs. Great water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast as to be expected for econo lodge. They did have a waffle maker. Even though the motel looked full on Saturday night, it was amazingly quiet. Plenty of room to walk dogs. Well lit parking lot. Receptionist was very polite. I have stayed here in the past and am pleased to see that the owners are keeping up with maintenance. Burger King across the street as well as 2 gas stations close by.

This is a pretty average motel. My room was clean and quiet, but it was showing quite a bit of wear and tear. Service was alright and, for the price, it was totally fine for a quick overnight stay. It's right off I-26 and fairly close to both Congaree National Park and Downtown Columbia.

We expected a non-smoking room. The room we were given on arrival reeked of cigarette smoke. We requested a different room, which was granted. The second room was better, but people obviously smoke in the rooms. So, if you absolutely require no smoking, don't go here. The room itself was ok, just very old with a rusted refrigerator. Tolerable for one night. The property itself was filthy. Trash all over the sidewalks, including glass bottles. The vending machine was something out of a horror movie. It was enclosed by thick bars, which is fine but indicated that they have security issues. The display that showed the available drinks included a can of soda that had been used as an ashtray and somehow stuck into the display case. One of the most disgusting things I've seen at a motel. I would expect the from a $26 a night motel, or one you would rent by the hour but certainly not one that charges $100/night! If anything about this description is appealing, give it a try. Otherwise, don't even consider it.

While the room was clean and comfortable, the front desk clerk (Tasha) provided zero customer experience with her negative, demeaning attitude. She could have cared less that we were staying at the place. After arriving home, we discovered that the credit card was charged in excess of the agreed upon hotel stay. She was of no help getting the situation resolved; zero help getting the matter handled. We consequently contacted the fraud unit of our credit card company to get these excess charges removed from our account. Too bad that the attitude of one employee ruined what could have been an adequate 1-night stay... and could have upped this rating.
