In their remodel...the TV could be higher. Put on the higher cabinet, microwave on the first shelf below the top and put cups and ice bucket on the lower cabinet. That would also free up the cabinet to put a piece of luggage, backpack or pocketbook. Room #135. Even though I'm a smoker, we prefer stepping outside. Room could be used more efficiently as a non smoking room.

This place has bugs. A roach walked by and now ******* won’t provide a refund even though I left the property 30 minutes after I checked in. Avoid this place unless you want some new pets.

Did not have the breakfast. The rooms were freshly painted and clean. Only suggestion is change out the old crumbling dresser. It detracted from the fresh new room. There was not an iron or hair dryer in the room. I borrowed the one my sister had fortunately in her room as far as an iron goes. Neither of us had a blow dryer in our rooms. Other than that the staff is always nice and they are one of the only hotels that still do daily housekeeping! I like the courtyard area and the quiet. It is also within walking distance to food and convenience stores.

I was charged $3 per night on top of my pre-paid ******* reservation payment which was supposed to include all fees. The TV cable was unplugged from the wall. The shampoo dispenser was empty. The sink hot and cold water was reversed. Used towels were taken out of the room and not replaced for the next day. There were no stirrers for coffee. The second day the supplies to make coffee were not replaced. In general, it was a budget hotel experience that felt "cheap". I will say that the bedding was clean which I appreciated.

We left before having anything more than coffee and a muffin. The room was clean and updated; nothing fancy, but renovated. The bed/mattress was very comfortable. It was quiet. Would stop here again.

If better options are out there, take them...
The property is either somewhat newly renovated or under renovations. Could use some improvements. Door didn't shut properly without a bit of extra force. Room had a musty smell slightly even after running HVAC to get air circulation going. The table and chairs were old and chairs looked like padding was peeling off. Never sat in them. Bed was comfortable, yet sheets were stained. Got shower was a true positive! The breakfast they offered was very lackluster and I only took a banana. Nothing else was appealing. Biggest complaint, after checking in after midnight, housekeeping was knocking on my door at 830am, and then opened up the door to find me in bed. Yes I had the security latch on to prevent full opening. She later came back at 1030 while I had just gotten back from a quick breakfast run up the street, and just opened the door again to come and change towels she thought she took out of room. My room hadn't been serviced at all at that point. She apologized but still, big inconvenience to wake me up so early when I had an event to go to in the afternoon and needed rest and preparation for. If I hadn't used my hotel points for a "free stay", I would have seriously left way sooner and asked for refund and camped somewhere before trying it again.
