Facility and room clean, the hotel itself is very old and needs some attention and updating. Staff was very unfriendly except the man working the breakfast area - he was very friendly. Now to be fair if you asked the staff for anything they responded but no acknowledgment of your walking through the door or even being in the vicinity of them. Not even a glance.

Our check in was very nice. The gentleman looked up my IHG rewards number and upgraded our room for convenience. How nice without any prompting. That was very much appreciated.

I read the reviews before booking and was confused when I arrived. The carpet in the hallways and the room had not been vacuumed in a long time. We found food bits on the floor in our room and something red - tomato sauce or ketchup? - caked onto one of the (white) linen blankets. Overall the hotel needs a cleaning - the corners and sides of the elevator were gross, for example. Chose the hotel bc it has a gym - but the sole treadmill was broken. The only positives were very comfortable mattresses, good coverage by the blackout shade, and especially, the service at breakfast. I was stunned to find soy milk - many thanks to the thoughtful manager / employee who told me he stocks it for health-conscious guests, I’ve never seen non-dairy milk available at a hotel breakfast before - and plain oatmeal packets. That was a real treat, and a very thoughtful touch by that gentleman.

We like this place and the staff are great! Marissa is such a great staff member that I would stay there again because they hire friendly and professional people like her. The only thing is that we were not happy with the shower temperature. It is always lukewarm and never gets any hotter for the 3 days of our stay. Thankfully, it's summertime, but I can't imagine staying there in the wintertime. The room number we stayed at was 327.
