Hotel is in need of an update. But staff was very friendly. Having the restaurant open was a nice benefit. And overall location by 14 and the mall area is good.

The room needed a big update, toilet too low, the hook by the tub way too high. Tub products hard to get out, the chair by the desk when sat in it cushion sank.

The room was clean but carpet had stains and very worn. The hotel needs a little TLC. Breakfast was good.

Staff service (Lauren and Sheila) was great and went the extra mile to mail me a lost item at no extra charge. The only issue I had was the AC unit in the room was making a loud vibrating/rattling noise that wouldn't stop while it was running. The room temperature was comfortable on it's own, so I just turned the unit off.

My stay was very nice. The accommodations were great. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant, kind, and helpful; different than the lady we dealt with last year.

The second night the power went out for several hours. This hotel does not have a backup generator! No ac to keep cool, couldnt charge my phone, no elevators, etc! Not sure how this is even legal with hundreds of people staying there? Fast forward to breakfast. How did they keep all that food cold when the power was out!? I also did a late check out yet noone seemed aware and kept knocking on my door. I even got locked out of my room an hour before i had to check out. Maybe it was just a 1 off? Had this all not happened my review would have been much better.

Our first room when we checked in had a horrible odor and the chairs and floor were filthy. They were able to move to another room which did seem a bit cleaner . We had an urgent matter come up at home and needed to check out around 5:30 PM the desk rep was unable to assist in seeing if we could get a discounted rate as we needed to leave right away no Manager available. ******* called (******* called while I was at the desk)and they refused to give an accommodate and provide a discount . Rooms are not worth the price . We have used country Inn’s for many years. I will definitely not stay here or recommend to anyone I know will be I. The area .
