I love the their breakfast bar is amazing. They have everything that you could imagine available for breakfast. The rooms was quiet. The housekeeping is amazing. Five stars definitely. When I return to visit will definitely be my go to the only hiccup is that they don’t have an elevator which wasn’t an issue because we got a room two doors down on the first floor, which was perfect for my walk in those high heel shoes. highly recommended.

Need to Try
This location was really nice and unique. It had an outdoor pool and hot tub. The concrete stone stamping was nice. They had some historical memorabilia in the entryway. The breakfast was good as there was hot food, waffles with the State of Texas Stamp built in.

No housekeeping!
Our stay was decent. Room was fairly clean, we did find a dead roach on floor. We stayed for 2 nights and housekeeping did NOT come to our room after first night to change towels and make bed or throw trash. however, the overall stay was good.

The hotel is very clean. Breakfast was good. Elizabet waited on us and she was extremely kind and helpful. She went above and beyond o help serve us breakfast (since we showed up a little late), and she was helpful anytime we needed anything. The room did smell a little must upon entry and felt damp but honestly I think it is just the damp atmosphere being near the ocean. The ac was cold and bed was comfy. I’d stay here again.

I read great reviews about this place, but, have to say I was a bit underwhelmed with the reality.
For those who care, there is NO ELEVATOR to the second floor. So, for whomever is up there, you will have to carry all your bags up. The front desk woman was nice enough to help, but for someone with baggage, it's a pain.
The room was a bit "tired" and neglected. Towels were thin, bedspread had holes in it, the actual blanket on the bed under the top "cover" (can't really call it a bed spread) was a thin synthetic blanket with a sheet on either side of it, and there was a big area on the wall missing paint.
The bed WAS comfortable.
If you ignore all that, my stay was fine, but I also didn't spend much time in the room. I was going to take pics of the bedspread and the wall, but completely forgot.
