The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean .they are also reasonably priced ..this is my preferred hotel in Benton harbor

Walked in to broken TV remote with TV volume on. Fixed promptly but friendly desk clerk. Bolt to lock door was also broken.

While our room was clean, the hallway and dining area were not. We had no towels in our room when we arrived. We requested towels for 3 guests on our way to dinner. When we got back we had towels for 2. Had to go get additional towels (which was not quick). Check in took about 15 minutes. FYI: no steps for the second floor. This is fine for us but for some with luggage or health issues, I suppose this could be an issue.

This property is in need of major renovation and I would not stay there again.the curtain was torn, there was a conspicuous hole in the plasterboard. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

The WORST hotel experience I've had in 20+ years. Difficult check in, no one at the fro t desk when we arrived, had to hand over my ID and CC 3x before they could check me in. Entire hotel smelled musty. No elevator. No hot water for my morning shower. Missing light fixture in bathroom. Squealing exhaust fan. No breakfast at 7am, was frantically being brought out by a guy in flip flops. Broken metal lock on the door. Very noisy. Uncomfortable bedding. AWFUL.. STAY ELSEWHERE

Definitely read reviews before booking!
The hotel could have been cleaner. In the room I was in, the tv didn’t really work. The WiFi wasn’t strong enough to reach my room on the second floor. There could have been more breakfast options. For the quality of the hotel, each night could have been a little cheaper.

The room was clean and looked nice. Our only complaints; we found our smoke detector on top of the safe rather than in its place on the ceiling and the lack of elevator.
