I gave an okay rating as there were a few problems during my stay. The room was only made up 1 of 6 nights stayed, it did not appear that anyone went in each day and performed a service. My key card was reset on 3 different occasions resulting in another visit to the front desk to reissue, The room temp was always adjusted up, resulting in the rrom being extremely warm at night, not sure why staff would adjust when I had set it down for comfort.

In regards to the room being serviced, we do that every second day as per our environmental stewardship. As you checked in on the 12th your room was serviced per our lock audit on the 14th from 2:51pm to 3:02pm, the 14th 12:55pm to 1:05pm and the 16th was check out day. We do offer a fresh linen service at the desk if needed or required. I have implemented a new policy on stays to not touch thermostats going forward. Previously we have set to a standard comfort level. Thank you for this point. In regards to your key we have retrained our new desk staff for card dates of stay. Everything was great only one thing was for me the bed and tub were a little high for me im short and a senior but i did manage.i was very pleased with the security i felt safe there thanks i will definitely stay again.

Parking area was safe and well lit. Check in was quick and the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was overpriced.

Room Review
The bed was very comfortable and we loved the pillows. The room was clean and although no daily maid service, if we needed anything it was soon delivered. The rooms are not very soundproof, we had an end room, but when next room occupants talked we heard them.
We had booked for 1 night about a month ago, then asked to extend for another night. We used the same booking agent, called the hotel to confirm we got the same room both nights. Their system didn't automatically register our room for both nights and we were checked out and had to check in again for the second night. Very inconvenient, we tried to use the elevator the second night at 11pm, our card didn't work and we had to go to the front desk the have it activated.
Glenn at the front desk was very helpful.

In regards to sound proof we have double insulated all the walls during our recent reno. Sound most likely is coming from the hall under the door where there is always a gap for negative air flow. When you book for 1 night it and then book to extend the original reservation has to go through its check out process then the new reservation needs to go through the check in process. When your room is extended the cards must be scanned with the new dates. This ensures hotel and guest safety. Thank you for acknowledging Glenn and his service.Sincerely,Jason H

First I want to say the employee at the front desk (Glenn) was very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant young man always smiling and eager to please. Also the staff at the breakfast for very friendly and efficient.
The bed was comfy. Some things that could improve would be having a coffee table in the rooms so there is a place to play cards or put out snacks. The walls must be thin as you can hear most anything outside your room. We did not like that the washroom near the dining was not accessible without going to the front desk to get a key. This can present a problem if clerk is busy with a client and one needing the key has health issues that requires a washroom quickly. Perhaps make the door only accessible with your room key if needing it locked. Having the option to have your Sunday breakfast that is included to have that amount deducted from the Sunday Brunch and customers pay the remainder, so that on a Sunday one didn't have to be rushed. But lots of positives so wouldn't not stay here again but would likely look elsewhere unless some of these things were improved.

When we did our reno on your floor all rooms were double insulated for noise prevention as well you did not have an adjoining door. I assume the noise came from the hallways and under your door. In regards to our lobby bathrooms yes we lock them for our guest safety. Unfortunately it is a sign of the times as McD and A+W down the street do as well. At the same time when the lounge opens at 11am, The bathrooms in the lounge are open all the time. They adjoin the restaurant as well.
