We booked a room for a night and when we went to check in they wanted to charge us $100 for a deposit. So my wife and I declined and chose not to stay at microtel, so within 5 minutes we had made our reservation booked a room and called and canceled the reservation. And here it is 3 days later and they have charged us for the stay, And it looks like from them they will not be refunding money or acknowledging any sort of wrong doing. Advice would be to stay away from microtel on Winchester road in Lexington, Kentucky. Good day everyone and God bless to all.

Check in was fast, room was spotless, staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
The only problem was the walls were made of paper, it sounded like the people in the next room were in the room with me.

Stayed for the UK V Tennessee game, place was packed but the staff was great. Room was clean, can’t ask for much more than that at the price. Would stay again

Very dirty. Hair in my shower and French fries by the bed when I checked in. My room was by a door that slammed and woke me up all night. The hallways were so dirty. I won’t be staying again

Staff was incredible. There was a smash bug on the wall ac did not work in the first .i was immediately placed in another ac also was not great but just to tired to complain
