Rooms are very clean.. Breakfast is great! Waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, danishes, hardboiled eggs, cereals, coffee and the list goes on. Perfect location for doing things in Marshall.

I go to check in at a hair past 3:00PM and the girl at the front desk was on her game! She said that housekeeping was finishing up our rooms and it would be a minute or 2 before I could go to them and we chatted about our dogs and kids and our rooms were done by the time we finished chatting. Very pleasant check in.

Not a terrible property. However, a bit overpriced for it being as outdated as it is. If this room were in $80 range, or if rooms were updated, it could easily be a 5 star. Staff were terrific.

The room smelled like smoke. The bed and shower were okay. The hot tub wasn’t working. Overpriced for what you get.

Check in was quick, it is an older hotel. Some wall paper peeling stuff like that (that didn’t bother me). The chemical smell in the bathroom was awful! It didn’t go away after time. The water in the bathroom was awful made me gag just putting it on my toothbrush. Pool was small and not heated at all. Hot tub wasn’t hot more like what a heated pool would be like. Max capacity is 4 but if they aren’t family that’s a bit too intimate. Breakfast: the eggs were empty and not filled while we were in there the sausage links were cold, biscuits could break a tooth. Gravy was cold and just wasn’t good. Waffles were fine but only two machines and with everything else gone, cold or too hard to chew it was the hot commodity but not worth the wait.
