Walked in to inspect the room before we took our belongings in - found live tiny roaches - killed one - and when searching the beds as I do with any stay - found a bug on the covers … we left and DID NOT STAY-

No bugs, plenty of hot water, clean and comfortable room. Does it need updating? yes - but if you need a simple, safe place to stay while you visit your college kid, this is a nice option.

This hotel has very sweet staff members that checked me in quickly. I requested to change from a double to a King due to my children not coming and they make the room change without any issue. The front desk associate showed me where the room was, even opened the door for me! The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was surprised by the difference between how much nicer this Econolodge Northport is when compared to the one in Tuscaloosa. Breakfast was great, they allowed me to get coffee early since I am an early riser. They provided me with more towels with a positive attitude. I will definitely be returning next time I need to stay overnight at a hotel.

When the outside is super clean you can tell you will love staying there. Expert Management here! Downside is the pool.

Nasty room and false advertisement on page.
Room had german roaches and baby roaches under bed as i scooted it over after killing two live roaches. Its on video but cant share video here. Pool hadnt been worked on in quite a while. Staff was rude upon arrival. (Black female at the desk thats a possible manager). Lamp cord was rigged with electrical tape and electrical plugs were black from being burnt. Bathroom door had a ¾ inch gap that you could see straight into bathroom. Breakfast consisted of pancake mix that you cook yourself with a pancake cooker beside it. Will not be back.

This property was so bad that we only stayed one night instead of two. There was mold in the room. The water was so dirty we couldn’t shower or brush our teeth! The floors were dirty!

the sheets, pillow cases and towels ALL had stains on them. the window had mold on it. the room SMELLED like mold. the floor was wet, and their breakfast was terrible. they say it’s age 18+ but the woman waited until I got there to tell me it was 21+… I paid $200 for ONE NIGHT OF BS. NEVER again.
