The photographs of this hostel are not representative of what you will find if you visit. It is a mess in much need of renovation and a bloody good clean. Broken toilet seats, showers that don’t work, doors that don’t lock, bathroom locks that get stuck, non existent security, no curtains, miserable reception staff, dirty pillows, musty bedding and I don’t even know where to start with the kitchens. There are hundreds of dangerous stairs and doors leading off all over the place with no idea who or what are behind them. It is also on top of a very lively Italian Restaurant so very noisy. My recommendation would be don’t bother especially if travelling with a group.

Great hostel in great location. Very close to main bars and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Can accommodate large groups. Staff are friendly.

Great location, but that’s where the positives end. Staff were unfriendly and made us feel like a hassle. We were handed a massive bunch of keys like it was some kind of escape room challenge, and the door handle fell off as we were shown in. One room’s light switch caused a power cut, and when we were told to contact night reception, no one could tell us where to find it. The rooms were extremely uninviting—reminiscent of a WWII hospital ward. The kitchen was dirty, the mattresses were stained, and we were expected to both make and ***** our own beds. There was no air conditioning or fans, making the heat unbearable. A restaurant below played loud music late into the evening, adding to the discomfort. We also kept getting locked in the bathroom—not ideal in a communal space. Thankfully, we had the floor to ourselves. Had we been forced to share, it would’ve been a miserable experience.

Rooms dirty, sheets with stains. Ivstayed with 30 students. One of students room was burgled although there was no sign of forced entrance. According to local police, this hostel gets frequently burgled. Staff rude, manager unhelpful and drunk. This hostel is a nightmare! The fact the hotel manager denies that we have been robbed in one of his LOCKED dorms speaks for itself. I have been a teacher for over 20 years, but this place was definitely the worst I stayed in. Fact is: the police told us to stay clear of this place. Fact is: it‘s not the first time they had to visit this establishment. Fact is hotel manager showed threatening behavior toward two of my students. Scam Alert! Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Me and 5 friends booked this hostel and it exceeded all our expectations. It is just above a pizza place which is fantastic and within a 15 minute walk of several nightclubs. Admittedly we got very lucky with our room as we were on the reception floor which meant we were (i think) the only room on the floor so we had a bathroom more or less to ourselves which we found was well maintained. The beds were fairly comfortable and the staff were pleasant and even after we checked out they looked after our bags for us. All in all this is a fantastic place, which i would definitely go again.

The location of the hostel is amazing especially for the price we paid, and it is located right next to an amazing Italian restaurant. There is also a Lidl within walking distance which made food situations easy. However the beds were very loud, as were the floors which made it difficult to walk back and forth in the room without waking others up (12 bed mixed form). In addition to this the kitchen hob would not work, nor would the lighter, so I was forced to use the induction hob which took forever. Our bathroom flooded and the floor had a water level of about an inch, and it was not attended to by staff for about a whole day. This made the bathroom inaccessible for everyone and inconvenienced us. The rest of the hostel was good, a couple of different common areas with kitchens which made it nice to meet new people and socialise before heading out at night, and I think that greatly improved our time here. Overall I think the hostel is worth the money you pay 100%, due to its convenient location to sights, clubs and restaurants. However just be wary that you get what you pay for regarding the rooms and facilities

The place is centrally located, so that is OK. But you are placed in a huge room with dozens and dozens of beds, all around the kitchen (!?!?!)...so outside of the smells...it always noisy and virtually impossible to get some rest. There is one shower and bathroom for the whole floor.... The staff prides itself of ripping you off with the exchange rate, they almost high five each other after they've ripped you off. I would not stay here again....

The accommodation is very well located, with a fairly equiped kicthen and the beds comfy but that's where the positives end. A real shame as the place is beautiful but everyone is just free to do as they please all night every night. Loud music and karaoke late in the evenings and the early hours you can't complain as there's noone at the desk at that time. Reported to the desk multiple times by different people with the response if it happens again in the night call.

Amazing location. Very dated building with old rooms and squeaky beds. Rooms get very hot at night and noisy on the streets. Up lots and lots of steps (80 for the third floor). Fine for a couple nights but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that. In the 16 bed mixed dorm there is a weird man in bed in the hallway opposite the bathroom who sleeps naked and smells so don’t book that room. Think he’s there all the time
