Premier inn Stafford. Building work was in progress, so parking was restricted, no restaurant so we were unable to have the breakfast that we had booked or evening meal. The room was ice cold on the first night only reaching a high of just 12.5°. The hotel didn't mend the noisy extractor when it was reported a week previously, it ran so fast it sounded like a generator, it was freezing cold we never slept a wink on Friday night. We couldn't even change rooms as none were available. In the early early hours of Sunday morning we couldn't stand the noise any more, I stud on the chair and switched the trip off for the lights. The next morning when I woke and switched the trip back on, the extractor was quiet and running at a gentle speed plus the room temperature had reached 17° at least we had a few hours sleep over our two night stay

Turned up for breakfast, didn't book and it didn’t cause a problem. Service was really lovely staff a pleasure in the whole restaurant. Never can fault a premier inn you always get your money’s worth, eggs were cooked to how they should be, with lovely white egg and soft yolk, thematic can always be hard if kept under the lights, but these were mainly cooked to order. If I had one criticism they are not set up for walk ins as there isn’t any public loos and we had to use staff room Loo’s (these are not the most pleasant, feel sorry for the staff). All in all great breakfast

I've stayed here a number of times and never been disappointed. The staff are happy, smiling and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast room is superb, the food nicely cooked, eggs cooked to your liking by the cook. Just a great experience. The best Premier inn I've stayed at.

Excellent, clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast was fantastic .. fresh and well stocked, in a very pleasant breakfast area. The staff, in particular Jayne, Emily and Kim couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. Excellent stay. Thank you!

Perfect from start to end. We recieved a very warm and friendly welcome from Sharon at reception offering great customer service, she couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and comfortable. The check out staff the next morning were just as friendly and helpful. We were made aware that the restaurant was temporarily closed for refurbishment and a so a complimentary take away breakfast was available at reception, fresh croissants, fruit and hot drinks all of a good standard. Overall 5* place for a short stay. Thank you.

I arrived at the Spitfire in Stafford and was checked into room 7. The toilet seat was broken and unknown to me it slid off the toilet and I nearly ended up on the floor....not a good start to a stay I did complian to the girl and she said that she might be able to move me to another room...this was awkward as I've just unpacked everything. The room was on the ground floor and very stuffy..I opened the window as much as I could however it was so noisy and added to the stuffy room it didn't make for a good night sleep. I had an email stating that your restaurant was shut...this made another problem as on Friday night everything near by was fully booked and I couldn't eat. I tried to get a cab into town but there were none available at that time I was told that there would be a complimentary continental breakfast supplied for the inconvenience. I went to reception the next morning to be told by a tired and miserable checkout girl that they had no delivery and therefor no breakfast. This added to the disappointment of my stay. The following night was much the same however I did get some good food early at the Chinese buffet opposite. The breakfast in the reception was there on Sunday but I chose to leave this as it was an insult to my intelligence. Dried up croissant in a plastic bag...cheap orange juice and a banana. Complimentary but at what cost. The WiFi was non existent unless you pay for the premium package at a fiver a day This has been one of my worst stays anywhere ever and I've had to stop in some poor hotels over the years. Not impressed at all with the Spitfire
