Staff was very friendly & helpful. The 3rd floor view was great. Easy walk to the beach & the 2 restaurants we ate supper at.

On the beach, walk to 2 bars/restaurants. Clean, complimentary snacks&water. Room was CRAZY small, definitely only big enough for 1 adult. It was also VERY humid in room, sheets felt wet. Other than that, good place for a quick stay.

Room barely had an ocean view, thought we had a balcony but didn’t. Our shower door was broken and we were moved to another room - not upgraded. Our new room had a shower door that was designed poorly and difficult to get in and out of.
Staffed opened our door TWICE to clean while our room was obviously occupied.

Location was excellent! We had a balcony room which provided a nice view. Breakfast provided a good variety of food choices.

Gorgeous views of the ocean from our balcony. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs made correctly.

While the main floor, elevator area, and bathrooms have been updated, this property needs a renovation. The carpeting in our room was old, stained, had cigarette burns, smelled, and should've been replaced years ago with laminate. The lighting was terrible, the control knob on the refrigerator was broken, and there was a light switch on the wall that did nothing. The room layout was awkward and clothing space was minimal. The furnishings were old and need to be replaced in addition to the coil-spring mattress. The room felt more like a college door room rather than a room at a seaside inn. The only saving grace is the bathroom. It had recently been renovated and was nicely done. However, there was only one towel rack. A double towel rack would've been a nice touch. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were of excellent quality but their placement on the side wall instead of the rear wall of the shower, compromised space. Lastly, a second mirror somewhere in the room would've been nice since bathroom space is tight.
The staff were friendly and attentive but we did have a few hiccups with housekeeping.
The free breakfast with scrambled eggs and a changing mix of bacon, sausage, grits, potatoes, waffles, french toast sticks, biscuits & gravy, and even a burrito bar, was superb.
Although the location can't be beat and there are some nice touches here and there, I will not be returning to this property. There are just too many negatives that outweigh the postives.

Nice clean inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cute and very clean! We loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning. They had good parking on site and an on-site bar and restaurant .With the location being right on the beach, and the historic downtown district only a 5-minute drive away. You cannot beat it! I highly recommend!

Reserved room with balcony, did not get one!! The sleeper sofa was horrible to sleep on, mattress flat and worn! Door to the room jammed, almost pulled our backs out to open it!!
