We stayed unexpectedly in Forges les Eaux after a tyre blow out on the A28 and being taken to a garage in Neufchâtel en Bray. There was nowhere to stay in Neufchâtel so it was an immense relief to find this hotel the owner of whom also recommended a taxi service (which was also difficult to find!). When we arrived the owner was so welcoming. After a difficult few hours he made everyone feel better with the warmth of his welcome. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable.

On our journey home, Forges les Eaux is the perfect overnight stop. Our usual hotel was closed for holidays so decided to try the Sofhotel. Situated on the other side of the railway track it is easy to find. Less than a 5 minute walk to the centre, it is very quiet. Room with bath, lovely view over fields, excellent, reasonably priced, simple but tasty food. Lots of parking. A gem. A great stopover and they welcome cyclists too.

This is a surprisingly large family run hotel. Great welcome and a very nicely decorated reception and public area. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable with everything we needed The evening meal was delicious and nicely presented Nothing was too much trouble. I think that it has 2 star rating but we feel it deserves more

我们在诺曼底度周末回来的路上偶然在这家餐厅吃了一顿饭。这家餐厅很简朴，但接待很热情。菜单很丰富。每个人点的菜都不错，不过份量在我们看来似乎很少（肉好像不超过100克）。如果份量够多的话，一切都会很完美。
