Highly recommend bombing rooms for bugs
Lady at the desk seemed to have been in a bad mood I know it wasn’t towards me but she needs to work on her poker face. Also I saw a bug crawling on the cover looked like a bed bug it’s to bad I can’t get some of my money back over that bug being on the cover.

It was a deplorable place. It was late at night, and we were tired and not at the top of our game. We were shocked when we pulled in and got a look at this place. No exaggeration; it looks like a place you might not make it out of alive. While we're contemplating what to do, a patrol car pulls in and sits there. We left and drove all the way to Lumberton for a nice hotel. We could not get a refund through ******* even though we never entered the facility.

One of those hotels where every room is smoked in. Bathtub had a horrible repair job and box spring looked like mold on it. Bed was uncomfortable.

Main thing was the Dirty Black Ring inside the toilet. It looked as is it had Not Been Cleaned in a long time!
I happen to have have a picture, if needed.
The bathroom floor looked clean, although the white socks we wore were totally black on the bottom after walking in the bathroom.
Changed socks, just in case it was from something else and it happened again. Also have video of them (before & after) available upon request.
My other concern was the Slippery Film from the Front Door into the bed area.
It could definitely be a Fall Hazzard!
Not sure if it is from Cleaning Products? Could be whatever the cleaning product is, causes this problem (just a thought).
The rest of the room seemed fine.
Nice shower/bathtub, with quick hot water and good water pressure.

Had an emergency come up 15 minutes after booking the room and called right away and they agreed I could cancel but need to call *******. ******* did their part but then motel declined to cancel with *******. I understand the non refundable but emergencies happen in life and to agree then deny that is unsatisfactory!

The room was clean but needed updates and paint. The breakfast was nit what I thought it would be just coffee juice and buns. The pool was not open. There were families staying there- like living there
