Everything was really nice. The room was nice and clean. They just weren’t doing breakfast anymore at this one. And I weren’t told this at check in. But all in all I would stay again. The person at check in was nice and so was the one at checkout. Great

We chose this Microtel after having a VRBO property cancel on us last minute. Don’t let the 2 star fool you! This Wyndham property was clean, with newly remodeled bathrooms, had comfortable beds, lots of snacks & friendly staff. Only issue is the shower design makes the bathroom floor wet past the shower so don’t leave anything out on the tile.

One step up from camping. The only positive was the ac worked and in the town I needed. I went on parents weekend and expected price gouging but thought it would be a quality hotel…so wrong. $700 a night and it was filthy for all 3 days! Never saw a housekeeper in the rooms or common areas. In fact, they wanted to charge an additional $8 a night to clean the room. The smells will knock you out. Husband joked they were trying to cover a dead body. If the smell didn’t give you a headache, the lighting did. No lamps…a bank of fluorescent lighting above the bed and a few ceiling spots were the only light source…like sleeping in an office. No carpet…dirty vinyl floor. No coffee setup or cups in the room. Phone didn’t work. Drapes broken. I could tell they had repainted because paint dripped down the door. Still had sticky residue from shower non slip that was in place at one time. New mirror covered the bathroom outlet. They are trying to renovate on the cheap. At $1400 i’m pretty sure i paid for our room reno. Will never return!

I stayed here a year ago and had a good experience. It is conveniently located for the event I was attending. The desk clerk, who was the same one from last year, upgraded me to a suite. I will be staying here in future if making a trip solo before my wife and I finally move back to Tuscaloosa within a year.

We stopped along the way on a road trip. I looked for something off I20, and found this little gem. Staff was awesome, towels have a little to be desired, but all in all, a good night's sleep.

Property is currently under construction and that wasn't stated on any website that I visited before I booked. With that in mind, the price was $50 or more than similar places. The hallway on floor three had a smell and carpet wasn't being maintained considering that there is no pool. The bathtub in one of the room wasn't draining. We used the rooms for less than six hours so that situation wasn't noticed until we were checking out at 2 am. Staff was friendly and the place overall was clean.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel in Tuscaloosa Alabama. I will never step foot in this establishment again. (1) the room was filthy. I even told the front desk clerk when he came go fix the tv that there had been a red drink spilled on the ac and the carpet and that everything was sticky in the room (not by me) and was told “we will take care of it once you check out.” (2) went down for breakfast and asked where the milk was for the cereal and was told they only serve almond milk. I threw my cereal in the trash and was told by Bridgette at the desk, “I practically own this hotel so don’t get an attitude with me.” “This is my hotel and I can tell you to leave.” Customer service is not something this hotel can say it does well at all.

Lying about what they have to offer in their rooms. Its embaslrasing to the motel community. They claim to have a fridge, coffee maker, microces in their rooms when the simple fact is they do not. Do better.
