The owner, Kristin, and her staff's hospitality and kindness is unmatched. It is so apparent that Kristen loves the work she does and truly opens her home and arms to her guests. The details are perfectly curated from entry to exit, and I could not have asked for a better experience. In fact, we started out in a well-reviewed hotel and encountered so many issues that we had to switch locations to the Clipper. I am so glad that we did. We will be back, and the Clipper is the only lodging I will seek out for future Ouray trips! You will not regret this stay!

Beautiful home in a wonderful little town. We spent a month in southern Colorado and agreed that Ouray was our favorite. The Clipper Inn feels like walking back in time. It is a lovely old treasure! Our room was cute, our bed was comfy, and breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a wonderful stay at The Clipper Inn for our anniversary. The staff was so friendly, attentive and guest orientated. Every morning breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The surroundings are clean and taken care of. We used the hottub which was very well maintained and clean. We met other guests who were enjoying the Inn just as much, spending breakfast having great conversation. The location is ideally located just a block from downtown and an easy stroll to Box Cañon waterfall. We had quick responses from ataff whenever we had a question or request. We found the Inn very accommodating. The town has a wonderfully rich history. Definitely visit the museum which used to be the town hospital. The scenery will leave you breathless with its beauty. We'll definitely return if our travels bring us to Ouray again.

Our 5 night stay in room 20 at the China Clipper Inn was so enjoyable. The room was large; very comfortable and new bed; loved the in-room jacuzzi tub. We used the hot tub several times: very clean and relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious, filling, and fun. Perfect location right by downtown. Innkeeper Kristin is attentive, kind, knowledgeable of local and nearby attractions, and committed to the Inn's longterm success.

We have been here b4. Nice “old timey place” good hosts and close to everything. We go to see fall colors. Will definitely go again.

A great comfortable in right in the middle of Ouray. With great breakfasts and a short walk to the center of town. Great hosts. Comfortable room and bed. What more could you want?
