One star review terrible hotel.
Hotel staff was inconsiderate and did not have supplies since I let towels or blankets for the fold out sofa. Threatened to call the cops because we were an hour late renewing our room for the second night. Avoid this place. It is a last resort situation if necessary

Positives: bed comfortable, extra pillows, price, parking
Negatives: old, strong moldy smell in room, only 2 towels and was not given any extra, no 24hr front desk service, charges for every local call made

Expecting a little more
Staff was cery friendly and accommodating. My bed was very comfortable and the AC was blowing cold. However there is not utensils or cookwear to use in the kitchen as mentioned. The kitchen floor was sticky and the remote didn't work at first. I was able to get another remote at least. Aside from that my stay was not bad for the price.

This is the 3rd time I have attempted to put employees there and each time they have complained of insects in the rooms

It was a good place to stay . It has a kitchen and a nice comfortable bed. But the shower hot water was broken and since it was the weekend they couldn’t fi it until Monday that I left. But the General Manager Charlotte took care of the issue . She is very professional and an asset to the hotel. Kudos to Charlotte and thank you.

Due to a flight and a long drive from ORD, I arrived at the Carmel ESA around 3:40 AM. There was a phone at the door, so I picked it up and dialed 1 for check-in service. It was a pleasant experience—the ESA service lady came out and opened the door to assist with my check-in. Thank you, ESA!

No one at hotel for check in. Have to call a number and wait for someone to drive over and check you in. I arrived to check in around 10pm...
