**AVOID THIS HYATT** This place should be burnt to the ground. Was shocked by how poor the conditions here were. Details follow: Water Leak from Ceiling – Water was leaking from the ceiling, causing drywall to drip onto the air conditioning unit and the carpet. This presented both a maintenance and a safety concern. Clogged Sink – The primary sink in the room was clogged and would not drain properly, making it difficult to use. Unclean Common Areas – The elevator floors and the utility room remained dirty throughout my entire stay, giving the impression that the property was not being properly maintained. Housekeeping Negligence – At check-in, the front desk asked how often I would like housekeeping to service the room. I specifically requested daily cleaning. However, during my entire stay, the housekeeping staff did not make the beds, remove the trash, or clean the room at all. The cleaning lady did show up to our room. I spoke with her in Spanish ("Hace las camas y limpia la pared, por favor") and politely asked her to return in 20 minutes once we would be leaving. She never did. I have videos and photographs documenting these conditions attached. As a World of Hyatt Explorist Member, I have been a loyal Hyatt customer for some time and have consistently chosen Hyatt properties because of their service and quality. My family and I stayed at the property for the purpose of seeing the Cincinnati Open Tennis Tournament and the Blue Ash Hyatt was conveniently located close to the event. Never again. La Quinta would be embarrassed by this place.

We are loyal Hyatt Explorists and stay here often to go to the Cincinnati Open. Brandon was friendly and professional checking us in @ 11:00am, and we really appreciated a clean, quiet room. The hotel needs to be renovated, but the location is great- 15mins to tennis and the Kenwood Mall.

This hotel is not your typical Hyatt experience. The room was not clean. Hair was found in the sheets and on the pillow. The floor had not been swept, as there was a shell from a sunflower seed next to the bed. The bathroom and refrigerator were also not clean. There was no hand soap in the room. When I went down to the front desk and asked for hand soap, I was told they were out and expecting a shipment the next day. How can a hotel be completely out of hand soap? How unsanitary! It appeared that at some point, someone had become locked inside the bathroom in our room and had to use a tool to pry their way out. The door and jam were heavily damaged. They ran out of plates during breakfast. I will say that the front desk staff were very kind and friendly.

This is a mediocre Hyatt Place. The important things - it is clean, pleasant, quiet and the staff are friendly. NO serious problems but not up to Hyatt standards. The entire hotel is worn - lots of scuffs on the walls etc. Several ice makers weren’t broken and no fruit at breakfast. Again it’s fine but overdue for a refresh

Rooms are in need of a refresh like fresh paint and new carpet. Entrance to hotel & parking lot during the snow storm not shoveled so my car got stuck trying to leave and again when returning on night 2. No hot breakfast during my 2 day stay

The breakfast experience was terrible. The microwave looked like a science experiment and hadn't been cleaned in several days until I said something. They did not have bowls for breakfast. I had to put cereal in a cup. The management didn't tell the staff to buy more disposable bowls and then after several days put out plastic bowls that they "found". The housekeeping staff was non existent. our room was only cleaned 2 of the 7 days we stayed there. On 12/21 We removed the bedsheets so that they would put clean ones on. We came back at 11PM to find that our room had not been cleaned. We had to ask the front desk girl for clean sheets and towels. WE HAD TO MAKE OUR OWN BEDS!!! The fire alarm went off while one afternoon. We were told that it was a false alarm and that there was no danger. We had to wait for over 20 minutes for the fire dpt to come and reset the alarm. We later found out that one of the owner's family members was doing work on something and caused some "smoke". The owner / manager is not fit to be running this property. On the days he was in, he sat in his office talking with his friends / family that were just hanging around. He admitted that he had staffing problems, particularly with housekeeping. After explaining all my troubles to him he listened but offered me nothing to try to resolve it. The only redeeming thing about the entire stay was the young college age kids working the front desk in the evening. They were friendly and tried to help with what limited resources that they had. This was a horrible experience for our family traveling over Christmas. My wife and children were disgusted by the condition of the hotel and the level of the service. I have been a Hyatt member for over 25 years. I have stayed at Hyatt properties all around the world. This Hyatt Place is quite simply the WORST experience and WORST run Hyatt I have ever stayed at. (Word must have gotten out because I think there were only 6-8 people staying there the entire week of Christmas). This makes me begin to question my loyalty to Hyatt if they would allow a property to be run this way.

I'll never stay here again. I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Blue Ash Ohio on June 19 - 20. I booked through Priceline and got a very good rate. However when I entered the room it was obviously not cleaned well. I noticed food smeared on the table which was cleaned haphazardly. Next as I went to set my luggage on the bed I noticed two spots of blood along with other stains that were most likely other types of bodily fluids. I called the front desk to request a new one. They did bring one after quite a while. I went into the bathroom and noticed there were NO TOWELS. No hand or bath towels, no bathmat, no wash cloths. At that point, I went to the front desk to ask for towels. I was shocked at the line of guests there complaining about the same issues, poor room conditions/cleanliness and no towels. it seemed to be a systemic issue with this staff/hotel. I called Priceline and submitted a complaint. When they reached out to the hotel numerous times, they were met with the same response. "The manager is not here. They are the only ones that can issue a refund". Finally after a week of calling Priceline for an update, they got a hold of the manager who was unaware of the issues during my stay and is requesting Priceline file a formal complaint via email. I'm cautiously optimistic this will get resolved. If not, I'll call Hyatt customer service to inform them of the issue.

As many of prior reviewers have indicated, this place is a dump and don't let any management claims of striving to provide a better experience fool you. They don't give a sh*t about this place. We were there for 9 days. Without hot water for 2 days, there was black mold actively growing in our bar sink, they didn't empty the trash in the fitness center once while we were there (there was bread in the trash and a moldy orange under the front end of one of the treadmills), no wipes to clean off the fitness equipment, and error code on our thermostat, and the breakfast was meager and monotomous. All of these issues were brought to managments attention either while we were there or in an email afterwards and there has been no reponse or follow up. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it.
