Observations: Good: Check in was great. The guy at the desk (didn’t get his name, but he’s from Toronto) was very friendly and talkative. Seems like a nice area. Pretty clean, smelled good. They have a pool and are right on the river. Nice view from the back. Not great: upon mattress inspection when I arrived, there was a clover-shaped bead under the mattress pad and the bedding had cigarette holes throughout. The flooring was put in very poorly— there are weird spaces between the edges of the slats throughout the room that ensure the floor cannot be cleaned properly. The bedside table had some gunk stuck to the top, there was a long drywall screw on the chair, there were wrappers from new linens in the cabinet but not on the bed, there was no extra tp (well, there were a couple rolls with a few sheets each), and there were coffee supplies but no coffee maker. I would love to say the stay was peaceful, but they gave me a room that can have a pass through to the next room and the folks were loud. However, the fact that the door was not fit properly may have had something to do with that. I moved the bedside table in front of it just in case. Also, at about 11:30 on 3/2/23 there was some lady yelling at the desk guy in the hallway about opening her room door for her. I looked out and there was a cop there as well. I got to hear all about how there was something going on and they had been in and out of the hotel all day and smoking in the room. I dunno. Not a good look, though. Overall, it was what I would have expected from a cheap weekend stay in Fulton. Fine overall

I rented a room, paid, and received a reservation number. When I went to check-in, Amber, the front desk attendant, who was not wearing a mask, was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and was folding laundry. She was unable to find my reservation by my name so I called my son on speakerphone to get the reservation number that I had left at home. My son asked some questions regarding Amber's inability to locate my room. Amber became very combative and scolded my son. My son, who is local, hung up and drove to the hotel. He entered the lobby and asked to speak with the manager. Amber advised that there was no manager available. My son explained that there was a reservation, that Red Roof Inn had my money, and wanted to know what the issue was. Amber responded by calling 911 and falsely reporting that there were two non-guests arguing with her. My son and I looked at each other in complete disbelief as we initially assumed she was picking the phone up to contact the manager for assistance. We left shortly thereafter and called Corporate Guest Services about an hour later. Guest Services, who had no issue finding my reservation, said that they would investigate the incident and have the manager contact us that same day. No one has reached out since. If your travel plans enjoy handcuffs and the possibility of bail, be sure to book with the Red Roof Inn of Fulton, NY today!

酒店回复: LML315, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the service you received from our front desk staff at that time, which made your stay less pleasurable. Please allow us another chance to serve you better next time as we are investigating the matter with our staff. We are in the process of retraining our staff to further better our services in handling our valued customers. Your health and safety are one of our main concerns and in doing so, we have mandated our staff to strictly enforce our mask policy. We are sorry to hear that this directive was not followed diligently on your last visit. We have already raised this to the management of the hotel for investigation and disciplinary action/s if needed to the staff not properly executing company protocols. Rest assured that in the coming days, we will be offering a much better stay. We hope you'll return someday to see how we have addressed and improved upon the issues that you have expressed, thanks to your valuable feedback.

Not overly clean. Didn’t seem overly safe. Probably the seediest hotel I’ve stayed in. Ended up being a last minute stay so will plan ahead next time so that we don’t end up in a place like this one. Glad I didn’t have my kids with me. The one bed was barely made.

Stayed here as most hotels were booked or outrageously overpriced. Requested an accessible room, didn’t get one (after confirming the day after reservation was made that an accessible room was booked). Room was bad. Torn/slashed window sheer. Holes/stains/burn marks on sheets. Bathroom mirror had a film. Tape on ceiling in bathroom, tape on peeling wallpaper. We have stayed in Red Roofs before that were very nice but this one was the pits. Plus upped the price because of the concert in town. Wouldn’t have even been worth the regular price. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one deserves it.
