Pros- Helpful and friendly staff, with good food at the restaurant. The pool is pretty good too. The rest is under renovation. Cons- There apparently are newer fully renovated cabins with better facilities, but you'll have to make sure to book one of those. The below description is of the old cabins. The wood panelling of the walls of the windows are bare, unpolished and unpainted wood. The fittings in the bathrooms *literally* don't work. The ceiling of the bathroom looks like it'll fall down on your head at any moment, and the TVs depend on the local cable company (hence they don't work).

This is apparently supposed to be a 4-star property. The only thing 4-star about this property is the pool (which was also under construction). Don't be fooled by the pictures they post on their brochure. Most of the rooms (there are limited new rooms, which we didn't get to experience) are eyewash. The wood panelling of the walls of the windows are bare, unpolished and unpainted wood. The fittings in the bathrooms *literally* don't work. The ceiling of the bathroom looks like it'll fall down on your head at any moment, and the TVs depend on the local cable company (hence they don't work). The "beauty" portrayed in their brochures is only skin deep. Take a look below the surface, and there is nothing of substance.

One of the best locations to stay at havelock island. Rooms are very basic but clean. Breakfast is delicious. It has its own private beach which is an advantage. The staff is extremely courteous, friendly and very helpful. They will go out of their way to help and assist you. Tapas Mondal at the reception and Deepa at the restaurant were very helpful and made our stay extra special.

Great ambience and opens to the beach. The cottages are well maintained. Comfortable distance from Kalapathar Beach. The highlight for us was the candlelight dinner. Amazing food and service throughout- special mention Maan - who attended to us during this experience. It was a memorable stay!

Great stay at the hotel and staff was so polite and I got upgraded room. Thanks for Prerna and Tapas for making worth a staying here in havelock.
