Friendly and accommodating and the staff was pleasant and accommodating… plus the front of house was super nice and fulfilled and able to accommodate the few request made…. P.s thank you

Trash place, trash staff. They are scammers and only care for your money. Raised concerns about it being unsafe, multiple open doors and broken locks in our “private room”. Place reeked, holes in ceiling, trash all over. Tried to get a refund and leave but was refused. Made concerns known during stay but left due to this hotel being so unsafe. Not to mention the man at the front desk continues to hang up whenever I call.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I stayed at the AmericInn by Wyndham Omaha near Zoo from December 13-24, 2024 (I was actually booked to check out on December 25 but plans changed and I wanted to be home before Christmas, so I checked out a day early). I think Wyndham should not want to have their good name on this hotel. There were many problems. The general condition of the hotel is not good and it is not very clean. I did not see a single housekeeping or maintenance person during my entire stay, and my room was never cleaned once (I don't think anyone ever even went into the room). The hallway carpets were dirty and garbage in the hallways (including empty beer cans) was not removed the entire time I was there. There was some garbage on the floor of my room. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee supplies. There were holes in the bathroom wall and paint on door handles, trim, etc. throughout the hotel. The walls were very thin and I could hear other guests fighting and shouting obscenities and crying babies and loud thumping music all night (as late as 3 a.m.). and my repeated requests to move to another quieter room were disregarded. There was no phone in the room. The desk chair in the room was completely broken and unusable, and the management told me it would be repaired or replaced, but no one ever came to the room at all. If I wanted the garbage in my room removed I had to put the can in the hallway myself (and no one even told me this; I just saw other guests doing it). I asked for clean towels and was told some would be brought right up, but no one ever came. I had to go to the desk to ask for towels, and at least one that I was given was so threadbare it had a hole in it. If I needed toilet paper I had to go down to the desk and ask for it. I eventually found a washer and dryer but the cash dispensers had been broken into and removed. The breakfast was extremely minimal; one day there was no milk and when I asked I was told none had been delivered. Encountered many unsavory types hanging out in the stairwells and halls. Had I not booked a package that included the hotel and already paid, and was not in Omaha for an emergency that was already very trying, I would have left the AmericInn after the first night. I really think that Wyndham should not be affiliated with this hotel aka flophouse.

I booked a room at this motel for a stay for 11/30/2024 - 12/1/2024. The person at the counter gave me Room 159. When I walked into the bathroom I noticed the sink counter looked like it was pieced together, the floor wasn't attached correctly near the shower. Tile was missing on the wall, crack in the shower floor. Hole in the wall in the room. I could see light through the door jamb and door. After pulling back the sheets I found a stain at the end of the bed, looked like blood. (That was the deal breaker to ask for a refund and to look for another motel) And garbage was overflowing the garbage can outside. Pictures from the website do not even look like the room. In order to post I had to give it a star. It deserves a 0. I also noticed on the receipt for a refund, it has Howard Johnson by Wyndham.

Front desk guy Vishal is great takes care of guest he took care of business and when out of his way to make sure are stay here was great I would advise body to go to this hotel if you want cheap reliable service American and by the zoo is where it is at

Under renovation!! Upon checkin we went to the room and it was still dirty. Returned to front desk, got a “I’m sorry” a new room key and a room with two beds and we’d booked a king. Went back a second time and was told the price was the same as a king. I said if I wanted two beds I would have booked two beds we’d like the king please. So got a key for our third room to check. While walking back and forth serveral times we notice several things such as Sheetrock dust footprints down the hallways and tile floors, chairs placed upside down on tables in the breakfast/lobby area, ceiling ventilation vents rusty and dirty, smoke alarm hanging away from ceiling, Sheetrock dust on the dark blue walls in the hallways, the pool had chemical bottles in the guest area like they were working on something but no signage showing it was out of order. We got to the third room which had the king size bed but just looking around the room we knew we weren’t staying! Comforter on the bed was torn, bathroom shower doors were dirty or so badly stained with calcium there’s no way we were showering in there. The icing on the cake was the plastic ***** corner protector placed over the corner next to the bed. It was either really dirty or had mold on it. Needless to say, back to the front desk we went and said we weren’t staying here with the hotel looking the way it did! We weren’t charged for the room and were able to find a different place to stay. The desk clerk said give them 30 days and it would be completely cleaned and completed! I used to work for a chain hotel and we would have never been able to rent rooms to the public if after a surprise visit from corporate they would have shut us down!! Worst hotel experience ever!! You couldn’t pay me enough money to stay there in the present state it was in. The desk clerk wanted to get us to stay at one of their other two properties but we said we had already booked somewhere else. So disappointed in AmericInn By Wyndham for allowing this type of business to continue.

Terrible. Under renovation. Someday it might be okay. Wyndham should NOT let this place offer reservations until fix up is complete. After generally good experiences at AmericInn properties, now we are worried about trying more. Places like this are dragging the Wyndham name down.
