This hotel gets 5stars because Imani was so sweet and nice and I appreciate the hot breakfast the rooms was clean and not one issue. Breakfast served fresh till 10 a major plus I will definitely be back- thanks Surestay Hotel for recommendating us to stay here we need a pool and Spark had one

As soon as we got to the room we had to call housekeeping because the toilet had feces splashes all over the top of the seat and under the seat as well as in the bowl. The mattresses were like sleeping on plywood and the pillows basically disintegrated when you laid your head on them (even using two together they were totally flat.) Coffee was horribly bitter. When I asked about the timeframe for the $50.00 incidental fee would come off, the desk clerk said "in 24 hours or some time after that". No kidding. There was what appeared to be homeless people living out of their car in a handicapped space. They apparently were allowed to go in and get food from the dining area. They were cleaning the trash out of their car putting on a luggage gondola from the hotel. I know this is a non-frills Hilton, but the things I described shouldn't occur even with a "no-frills" property. Also, the TV kept freezing. There were absolutely no USB plugs in the room anywhere....not even one! Basically a horrible experience.

I don't know that I've ever given a "2" review before but this hotel deserved it. It is an older hotel and it shows. No business center which I find amazing in this day and age. The front desk folks were very good and printed out the pages that I needed but I really needed more but didn't want to bother them. One elevator and one ice machine. Parking is a real premium and the walls are paper thin. Needless to say, I just can't recommend it.

Oh my goodness! Spark by Hilton in Tuscaloosa is amazing! This was our second time staying here with 14 days. Very, very clean. Comfortable beds, luxurious linens, big breakfast! But, what I truly want to emphasize is the staff, they were beyond caring and kindness by genuinely wanting us to have every convenience we needed. As senior citizens we had to ask for a little extra help and Dave made us feel welcomed and very safe. The hotel is very close to many good restaurants and shopping! We shall return every time we travel through Tuscaloosa, Alabama!

We stayed here this past weekend. And got a chance to meet Huey. He greeted us during breakfast hours and he brought us napkins to our table. The rooms were renovated and clean. The shower was hot. This was the first time we stayed at a Spark but it’s a Hilton hotel. My wife loves it and she recommended we give it a try. We wil be staying here for AGame and this will be our hotel choice when staying in TTown. Please let the Man know at the Frontdesk thanks for the complementary water.And how can we forget Huey he’s special.

We weren’t planning on stopping in Tuscaloosa this go round but me and the hubby are so glad we did. Even though I know we looked rough from hours of traveling, the staff was alarm and welcoming. The shower was hot and the bed was perfect. We both slept better than we do at home lol. And even though we overslept, the breakfast was still well stocked and delicious! Great waffles! We have to go back through Alabama this coming month and the staff at spark can guarantee they will be seeing us along the way. I’d give it 10stars if they would let me. Great hotel! It’s a lovely place! Great proximity to restaurants and places to shop. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly and super helpful.The beds were super comfy. I would definitely stay here again. The decor of the hotel was very modern. Free WiFi.

Great location the palm trees 🌴 make it seems like you’re at a resort.. great breakfast bagels 🥯 fresh. Frontdesk staff was professional and my room 116 was clean and tidy up upon checking in. Oh did I mention how quiet it is here.. we will definitely be back. Dave

The hotel is clean and organized. It looks like it was recently renovated. The staff was cordial. The "free" breakfast was good. The shower is "walk-in" (i.e. no bathtub), as I prefer. The hotel is located away from the freeway, so "road-noise" isn't a concern. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
