My sister was going to stay in a room near the office but there were roaches. Also our hallways smelled like urine.

Thee grounds are not lovely, but there is a nice little outside table and chairs. Very convenient to the highway, though not noisy.

Not the best
Although the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was acceptable, walking into the first floor it smelled of cheap perfume and dirty water. The second floor had a putrid sour smell throughout the hall. The room was clean . There was a phone , but when I went to call the front desk there was no cord or a place to connect the phone as if it was a display only. One of the bathroom doors we had to lift to latch. The horrifying part was in the morning as a roach was trying to enter our room causing us to leave early . I showed the picture of the roach to the housekeeper and to the front desk. The housekeeper apologized. The front desk man did not give me much of a response. This was my first time experiencing this type of bug and was terrifying.

Definitely wont be back
I stay at hotels a lot and i dont expect it to be perfect by any means, but this trip might of been my worst, we open door n try n turn on light n it doesn't work, found the bathroom light n soon as turned it on roaches scattered and went into the door jam. Then open microwave and someone left food in it and was rotten and stinked so bad had to throw up, it was obvious the housekeeper didnt do their job, the staff was nice tho and gave us another room, but couldn't stop thinking about those creepy crawlies getting on me lol

Superb experience
Really well maintained, cleanand charming place full of character. Staff are super nice. Breakfast was unexpected and over the top. Will definitely stay again if we come here

There update of facility was a bandaid on a pig.
+ Room very dimly lit - need at least a table lamp.
+ Room condition was smelly, problems with TV, no coffee maker, danages just painted over, etc.
+ Breakfast was not very good. - no options for diabetics except apples. Very little put out (2 tea bags, 3 or 4 yogurt, etc) - as if they were being stingy.
+ Exterior - blacktop crumbling, areas of tall grass & weeds, rough abandoned building close to hotel (rough area & security / safety)
+ Paid way to much for room (2days) for quality of stay.

I have to be honest, it's a dump. Bit of a moldy smell. But it's inexpensive, and there's breakfast, and some really nice people work there including the female night clerk who was there on Aug. 18, and the guy who takes care of a million things including breakfast.
