I've never seen a hotel room as dirty as this one. The housekeeper was still "cleaning" the room when i arrived. She had the door open, so when i walked in, there was a huge swarm of flies everywhere. Whatever she used to mop the tiled bathroom floor either didnt get rinsed, or she used grease to mop it because it was like walking on slimy ice.

FRUSTRATION
I would like to tell you about my stay. However, I did not stay there. I was never notified that they could not accommodate me until I arrived.
So I booked on my own at another hotel in a nearby city. I need a refund and an ID number, but nobody has been able to give me that information yet. All I have is a confirmation number which does not match the ID number that they say they need. It’s very upsetting to pay for something I did not use and it was 0% my responsibility. Please somebody help me. I do not want to have to resort to begin using an alternative vacation booking site.

Clerk was friendly and terrific. Property was pretty run down. White towels were dirty or just badly stained. Sheets seemed clean but I did not use the comforter. Floor felt matted and a bit sticky. For the price it wasn’t terrible

I have stayed at this OYO property before. It’s not fancy, but for one night for the reason I was in town - the price was right.
Unfortunately this time, due to the weather, there were some pipes that burst which affected the sprinkler systems, etc. So my booking was cancelled.
I get it, unforeseen circumstances happen.
What I have a huge issue with is that I was not notified! I did not receive an email or a phone call at any point the entire day. So after a long drive, I arrive in the evening with my family, and THEN I am informed that the booking was cancelled.
That lack of communication is completely unacceptable.
Oh, and it looks like I’ve only been refunded for one of the booked rooms. So I have to sort that out, too.

I booked using *******, had booked a month in advance. We arrive at the hotel and I’m told by the owner of the hotel that his cleaning lady had been hospitalized for over week, so he didn’t have any clean rooms. I was turned away, stayed at another hotel down the road. I wake up the next morning to a charge from the OYÓ for the room I didn’t stay in. I went straight to the owner that was in the lobby and let him know that I was charged for the room. He went as far as showing me on his laptop that he didn’t have any booking from ******* for me, so he didn’t charge me. ******* is the only app that had my info. So I reach out to *******, but now they say that they can’t reach anyone at the OYÓ hotel to confirm my stay. I’ve been back and forth with ******* and OYÓ and neither is trying to issue a refund. I’m told by OYÓ to wait 24-48hrs to see why they can’t reach their own guy in Jacksboro. I just want my refund before I take legal matters.

No one would like to stay at this place a complete pig stye, I wouldn’t even allow my pets to stay there. Terrible, unsafe, hazardous, un healthy. Will be reporting to the health officials, no hotel standards at all. They should lose their license. Place not even fit for rats!! Brown running water, filthy appliances, filthy furniture, torn and shredded mattress with no appropriate linens. Old outdated heating/cooling unit, if you want to call it that, could see through the wall to the outside. Front door all full of bird poop…totally disgusting place.
