We’ve been using this hotel room for work purposes and couldn’t be happier. The owners are truly amazing—kind, welcoming, and extremely accommodating. The room is comfortable, quiet, and very clean, which makes it perfect for both work and rest. The amenities are great, and the large TV is a nice bonus. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stress-free, comfortable stay.

At arrival we were welcomed with open arms..very clean very kind service and an excellent team able to assist you when in need. Lovely room... close proximity to the shopping centre and readily available service for you. I will definitely stay here again and again

Nice & clean rooms with ample free parking. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. I would stay again should I return to Katherine.

Owner was wonderful we arrived early and he had the rooms ready to go in 20 minutes and was very hospitable. Checked in and made myself and colleagues feel welcome.

Very comfortable staying a very convenient location. Close to Greyhound bus stop and next to Woolies/shopping centre. Pool was very welcome in the heat.

We were struggling to find a hotel in Katherine as there were a lot of negative comments on social media about the town. We choose the Katherine Motel as it was near Woolworths (for buying food) and scored well on cleanliness and security for the car. The latter was quite a let down as the gate didn't seem to get closed until very late at night and there was no way to secure our car which made us anxious. There was a sign on the gate asking guests to close it but they didn't. The lady who checked us in and out was very friendly. We did go to Woolworths but it was a bit of an anxious walk around the block as there were large groups of people sitting around drinking and staring at us. It was very unnerving. We wanted to buy a bottle of wine from the liquor store next to Woolworths and had to show our id to two police officers outside to be allowed in. This was in addition to having to show our id when making the purchase which was the case the three times we bought alcohol from a store in Northern Territory and I believe is a law. We didn't feel safe to venture into town in the dark for dinner so ate our Woolworths purchases in the room. It was our least favourite stay in our three week trip in Northern Territory but, to be fair, we did stay in some rather luxurious accomodation for some of the trip so this compared badly. The room was clean and the bed good. The wifi wasn't very reliable. The walls were the same as outside - white painted brick so had a 1950s utilitarian feel to them. The lighting was harsh but we found this a lot in Australia. I'm afraid we wouldn't choose to stay here again simply as we didn't feel overly secure. The window in our room showed the entire room. We took all of our belongings with us during the day as we didn't feel it safe to leave them visible in the room after all the warnings we'd had about not leaving things visible in our car. We did this in case the maid pulled the blind upo when servicing the room but actually there wasn't a maid so we needn't have worried! In fact, on the second morning we got braver and walked a few minutes to a cafe for breakfast. Two young people walking in front of us tried the handle of every single parked car they passed. We'd been warmed about this type of thing but it was shocking to witness. I feel bad for the good and law abiding people of Katherine (and Tennant Creek and Alice Springs) as it seems they have a real crime problem on their hands.

Short notice. No problem Two cars and a trailer. No problem Check in. No problem. Everything alright sir. Sure is. Been here twice. Room is clean. Bed is very good. Bathroom good. Good size shower. Can’t hear the noise outside. Center of town. Pool looks good. It’s all you need. Will b back.
