The room was so dirty the toilet seat actually had big gauges in the seat the carpet was dirty with stains and the lamp shades had stains on them the microwave was smeared with something ? Not sure what it was but it was disgusting. The blinds at the window were broke and gaps with blinds not fitting correctly.
We complained and they show us two other rooms which were just a tiny bit better but had issues as well with carpentry above door frames hanging loose! Bathroom sink was damaged from age. We decided we couldn’t stay there in any of their rooms offered because it was so dirty and unsafe. So we checked out and had to ride around and look for another place to stay at 5pm in the evening. After complaining to ******* about our experience
They claimed they couldn’t get our money back
They claimed they tried but the manager of Clarion Inn refused. So ******* emailed me and said basically sorry we tried. I will never ever use ******* again and never go back to this
Clarion Inn in Strasburg Pa. Very disappointed in ******* and Clarion Inn. Please don’t go there bottom line it’s dirty and unsafe.

The staff was very nice, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The view from our balcony was beautiful.

The staff was very nice and kind, but the rooms were terrible. The first room that they gave me had mold in the bathtub. I said I was not comfortable staying in that room. The second room they gave me had mold on the ceiling of the shower really bad black mold and I said I'm not showering in there that is a health hazard. The third room they gave me was pretty OK. There was no mold anywhere but when I woke up in the morning, there was no shampoo and there were bugs in the shower.

The rooms are old, have an odor, hall are not clean, outside door locks are building do not lock, so security is an issue. Tub was old and had been painted. Bed fram falling apart. It appeared cleaning crew lived in the building with their family and the outside area was nasty.
