Our experience was a good one . Bertie and his wife were very hospitable towards us both and made us welcome to there hotel. Breakfast was excellent they me poached eggs which was well boiled and spot on. The room looked adequate for the money that we paid for and was also clean . We didn't use the bar . If I'm heading to Southend on Sea again ,I would like return again .

Great Southend Hotel
Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Facilities in room are excellent including mini fridge. Lovely little bar area and lounge. Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Best breakfast of anty hotel I have stayed in Fresh cooked to order and served to table. Evening meals available. Car park but if full voucher given for on street parking.

Lovely, friendly family owned and run hotel in lively area of Southend. Would definitely recommend and shall go next time I'm in Southend.
