Audra was truly amazing! Everything we had a question or concern about she was there right away! I will definitely be visiting Hiltop again on my next trip!!!! And she’s hilarious which was just the cherry on top!

If you're in bakersfield you are either A) resident B) stopping on your way to another town C) in hiding I won't tell you which is my option. However, I will tell you that this hotel is so charming! Between the koi pond in the front of the hotel and the randomn Aston Martin parked in lobby (belonged to Kobe Bryant), lace curtains in rooms, lush trees surrounding massive pool, I am very happy to choose this hotel for each of my trips here from now on Audra at front desk it's so sweet and so knowledgeable. My comfort was indeed a priority. Restaurant is attached to the hotel and everybody.There is just fantastic. The food is only $7 if you dine there and stay at hotel. That's unheard of and because of that, and my sheer complete laziness to go anywhere else, I chose the restaurant next to the hotel for all of my meals which were a great. Pizza made fresh and fabulous. Bed was A+ Parking is easy and secure. Definitely, five stars for what they are trying to achieve in this city.

Concerning Experience During Recent Stay Dear [General Manager’s Name], I am writing to express my concerns regarding an experience during my recent stay at your property on the evening of March 28th. I had traveled a long distance to participate in an important tournament scheduled for the following days, and unfortunately, my experience upon arrival was far from welcoming. When I first arrived, I found that my room key did not work. I had to return to the front desk three times to request assistance. The front desk staff member on duty, a woman with straight black hair with partially white strands at the front, responded unprofessionally. She accused me of not knowing my room number and displayed an unhelpful attitude when I inquired about the parking situation. When I requested an extra towel and blanket for a friend who was arriving later, she insisted it was against policy and suggested I needed to add an extra person to the room officially. She even went so far as to threaten to call the police when I expressed frustration about the key card issue. Fortunately, a gentleman on staff who spoke Spanish came to my room. I demonstrated that the door lock was indeed faulty and that my key card was not working properly. This interaction helped clear up the misunderstanding, but it was disheartening to have been wrongly accused in the first place. What added to my frustration was the change in the staff member’s demeanor when my friends arrived later that evening. She treated them with kindness, provided them with towels and extra blankets without issue, and did not charge extra—something she had previously denied me. Because of my apprehension about being locked out of my room again, I avoided moving my car to the gated parking area, despite it being safer. I was simply too exhausted to deal with another potential issue with the room key. Earlier in the day, another staff member, a friendly African-American woman, had assured me that I could receive additional towels and blankets upon my return. Her professionalism and warm demeanor stood in stark contrast to the treatment I received later. I do not appreciate being accused of dishonesty, nor do I tolerate discriminatory behavior. While I strive to remain professional in all situations, this experience was particularly disheartening. As someone in the hospitality industry, I believe your staff member should have exhibited greater professionalism and empathy. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that my feedback will contribute to a better experience for future guests. Lastly, when I informed Her about the room having a bug inside, she totally ignored me, unfortunately, I cannot upload recording on this platform.

Good service very helpful! Audra olivarez front desk was great! Helpful to my needs . Answered all my questions. Room was well , clean .. great way to get to near by areas for restaurants and grocery stores . Will definitely come back again . Thank you
