This was a magical retreat space. We so loved the comfort of the authentic & organic "cabin" we stayed in. The entire staff was exceptional in their care, regardless of our request. Our cabin was beautifully furnished with lovely antiques & art. The food was so fresh, healthy & exquisite in taste. We tasted many authentic Jamaican dishes we would likely not get to experience anywhere else. It was refreshing to mingle with the staff. Everyone was delightful. We highly recommend.

We were completely captivated by our visit to Tingalaya's Retreat. When researching travel we look for locations and properties that allow us to immerse ourselves in a local culture. Boy, did this beautiful place provide! The charming guest cottages, tucked in lush gardens, had everything we needed -- beds and linens very comfortable, wifi excellent, lots of places to relax and read. Gorgeous Jamaican breakfasts and a pre-arranged dinner were served in a towering wood shingled gazebo. All staff very friendly, greeting us by name and offering tips on local eateries and things to do. This is one of those rare, lovely places that permit one to daydream of living in a different time and place.

What a nice atmosphere!!! We loved our little, simple room hut close to the cliffs and the small swimming pool (with a queen bed and a nice bathroom with warm water). A good breakfast is served in the ‘living room’ on the other side of the road where also other rooms are. The retreat is quite far from the restaurants/town and you need a car to go for dinner in the evening (as it is dark and the road is full of potholes) however you are allowed to cook in their kitchen which we enjoyed. We also experienced a lovely yoga session. Eleanore is a more than an amazing host. She really takes care of guests in a super professional and pleasant way. Thousand thanks to you and all the other ‘crew’ members. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a Wonderful and Peaceful place to stay! Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Tingalaya. The Staff was sooo Welcoming and accommodating to us. The hospitality that we felt at Tingalaya really made our stay a Wonderful experience! The Property and the Grounds are just so well maintained and beautiful. The Ocean Side part of the property is just Amazing with an outdoor Yoga deck where you can do Yoga while watching the Sunset and hear the sounds of the waves. Yes, sounds like a dream, but it’s true. Just an amazing and beautiful experience! Tingalaya is a Wonderful property with an amazing and helpful Staff for those guests lucky enough to find it. Thank you David, Eleanor, Juby, Moreen, and Jenny for making our stay So Wonderful! We really look forward to seeing you all again! All The Best, Rick and Raquel.

Amazing HideAway near Negril
This is a remarkable place close enough to Negril but located in the forested, quiet area of West End. The properly is beautiful, the staff are pleasant and attentive and the private beach is like something I have never seen before. Having a car is almost required (mind the potholes) but once there, the place really is a retreat!
