There was not an elevator. I don’t understand why there wasn't an ice machine on all the floors.
Room could use some touch up paint and more detailed dusting aka cleaning. There was blood or dark ketchup on the wall. We didn’t touch it.

The first room we got had broken glass and hair on the bathroom floor and what looked like pee on the wall by the front door. We reported it to the staff and she said that's what you get when your fine taking a smoking room. The second room non-smoking had a dirty bathroom but better then the last

Great stay at Quality INN in DesMoines
Very nice underpriced clean hotel with nice shower, comfortable bed, enjoyable pool andgood breakfast with eggs, sausage & granola.

Font entrance had carpet sticking up, which a person could trip over it. The room was not cleaned very well.

It was a wonderful room, breakfast was absolutely great, the beds were comfortable. The pillows were pretty good, the employees were the only issue and they were still really sweet but their English was a challenge so asking for another wet/ laundry bag to put the wet swimsuits in. They kept offering us tissue boxes

We like staying at this property because of the price and location. This time, the toilet was plugged and no maintenance available to take care of it. They wanted to move us to a different room. We were able to get it all unplugged, but the floor was disgusting and they didn’t come in to clean it until the next afternoon. We never did get the bathroom garbage can back after we took all the wet towels in it to the desk that first night. We were not offered any other accommodations or discounts for the inconvenience. My partner enjoys the biscuits and gravy. Since I need to eat gluten free, there are not many options for me. But the coffee is good!
