As Travelodges go, this was perfunctory. We checked in to the most surly receptionist who really didn't want to be behind the desk, dealing with a knackered family with hound - we were clearly ruining his dull night. Room was clean and the usual family layout. The outside is near a restaurant and the car park was litter strewn and shabby - but the room served it's purpose and the day receptionist was smiley and sent us on our way cheerfully.

This Travel lodge offers great value, comfortable and friendly accommodation. Everything you need is there. Comfy bed, hot shower and parking. A pub (The half way house) to unwind in so close, by serving tasty food & serving a good selection of real ales, was a real bonus. All the staff we met in the travel lodge, pub & All you Knead (up the road for brekkie) were friendly and welcoming.

I stay here regularly, all the staff are absolutely brilliant and very accommodating and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really nice I specifically like upstairs at the back of the hotel.

Very bad service. We stayed for 7 nights, and during our stay no one came to clean the room, clean the bathroom, and do the bed. Even asking for cleaning the reception said that we only change the bed linen every 4 days

Grabbed this hotel quite cheap last minute, as i needed a hotel while i was on business in Manchester having travelled down from Scotland. Located just a very short drive from the motorway and not far from various EV charging points including the Tesla one. This hotel is rated as one star, but personally i think this does it a disservice,.. the room was very clean if not a little dated in the bathroom and the sealant around the bath could do with replacing,.. but that being said it was very clean and very quiet,.. and i got a great nights sleep. I think its the staff that make this place though, very welcoming, friendly and helpful ,.. will definitely have no problem choosing this place for a quick stop-over again.

Hotel was a welcome break in a long 500+ mile journey in searing heat. Overall the stay was comfortable and allowed us to rest before continuing our journey. Well placed property and easy to find.

Needed to stay somewhere close to my training site for work and found this hotel online. Very quiet, clean room, very nice friendly staff who helped me out with their local area knowledge. Only negative it is difficult to find with the signs being hidden by vans in the pub carpark but a quick call and I was given directions
