We stayed in a standard travel lodge room which had we not had our rather large dog with us would have been fit for purpose. As it was there was no room for her to get comfortable without being in someone’s way poor thing. The carpet was very stained and the bathroom shower curtain had blood on it. The towels provided were grey to say the least and rather threadbare to the extent we bought towels from a local supermarket, but I digress. The reason we picked this particular hotel was the fact that it was dog friendly what was not stated is the hotel itself is dog friendly but not the bar or restaurant so we had to eat in the Marstons pub across the way. (We were glad that we had not booked breakfast as we would have had to take turns to eat). We could see no logical reason why dogs were not allowed in the small bar area and during our 3 nights stay we saw only a handful of people using it. The pub across the car park whilst being dog friendly also had a food rating of 5 stars so surely a hotel that classed itself as dog friendly could allow dogs in the majority of areas and still achieve the same. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful with just a few who obviously thought you an inconvenience This is not a hotel we would recommend or indeed return to.

I had to be here at Weston-Super-Mare Travelodge for 2 and a half months, since it really suited me to do so being pretty far from home while I was at a Work Placement for that time (barring the weekends, would go back home for those). And I must say, my stay was honestly really pleasant overall! It became my 'home away from home', with the rooms being nice and the staff great. Shoutouts/special mentions to them all: 'Paris', 'Ian', 'Alan', 'Anna' and 'Michael'. They were always so lovely and helpful, and really made me feel welcome and that I was staying at a nice, comfortable place. Thank you so much to the Staff here especially for always being so cool and pushing a brilliant environment to be at ease in.

Always clean and comfortable hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. Alan seems to be always on for cooking breakfast that he does very well and he also keeps the coffee machine maintained and working. Thank you very much.

Rooms were fine, clean and spacious. Ample parking, easy to find. Didn't use the restaurant but very small. Pub over the carpark if dont want to eat at TL. Very quiet and a good nights sleep. Checked in ok no issues and quickly.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious but there are not much options but the prices are reasonable.

Stayed for the WSM light carnival. Paid for a family room, which is basically a room with 2 single chair beds made up. Only 4 pillows in total and that doesn't matter if you have 2 or 4 sleeping. I,ll start with the biggest concern, which I will be contacting the appropriate Onbudsman and WSM council about after this review, 24 hours have passed since we left room 301 and both my wife, myself and my 3 year old and 5 year old granddaughters are plastered (and I do mean plastered !) In red bite marks all over. The only common denominator is that we all slept in the same room. This is unacceptable for any business, let alone a business you are supposed to trust to ensure 100% cleanliness when staying. In addition, bathrooms footprint was smaller than the inside of my car, they seem to have forgotten to put anywhere other than 4 hangers to put clothes, or in our case the wet coats we had to put somewhere. Don't expect a hairdryer, and for a family of 4, only 2 of you can sit down at a time in the room because there are only 2 chairs. Apart from the fact that we appear to all have been affected by the same infestation, obviously in the beds, it was absolutely disgusting and it will be a cold day in hell before I ever stay at this chain again. PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

I was staying with my students ( 44 pax) in your hotel. We were very disappointed about your property. We requested an early breakfast at 7 am on Saturday evening( because we are going to the airport on Sunday ) , the receptionist was calling the manager and the breakfast was agreed at 7.15 am. I entered the reception at 7.15, nobody was there and there was no breakfast ready. I was trying to find someone, there wasnt anyone. My students were coming downstairs and nobody appeared. After I found a receptionist and he told me that he wasn't aware about anything. It made me really angry. During the night around 3 am in some rooms there were strange noise and green light appeared, so we were woken up. And there was a terrible smell at the corridor on the 2nd floor. The key cards were not working properly. We had to go downstairs and exchanged them. The staff werent friendly at all.
