This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. We paid for 3 nights and stayed 2. The place is completely run down. The plaster and paint in the pool are chipping and peeling all over the place. The handrail into the hot tup swings back and forth and is completely unsafe, my daughter even fell in because she was standing on the step when someone else tried to hold the handrail and it swung over and hit her and knocked her in. There were no towels at all in the pool room when we arrived and when they did bring in "pool towels" it was a little stack of hand towels. There are only 2 chairs in the entire pool room and there are no tables. The elevator gets stuck on a regular basis and did not have a maintenance card in it. When we told the front desk person we were told "it happens all the time, but we aren't doing any repairs right now." The room was ok, accept when we arrived the coffee maker was shoved under the nightstand as if they had not cleaned it from the last person. The TV never worked right, and the carpet was dirty and there were toenail clippings from the previous guest in the carpet. Breakfast is supposed to end at 10am when we got down there at 9:45 (to just grab some quick stuff to take up to the room with us) the front desk lady came running over and started hurrying us along and rushing my children out of the breakfast room. My children are mixed race, and the maintenance guy and daytime front desk person are obviously ******. The maintenance guy came over and stood at the pool window to watch my children any time we were in the pool and even came in to yell at my 3-year-old when she ran in the pool room, which I had already corrected before he came in. He made several comments about "those kind" of children destroying things. The front desk lady made up a story to the manager about my kids being left unattended in the pool room (which never happened) and when I asked the manager to show me on camera where they were ever left unattended the front desk lady changed her story really fast. There was paint peeled off the side of the hot tub when we got there and there were several children in the pool and they blamed my children for peeling it off and throwing on the wall, which they did not do. At the end of the first evening there my 8-year-old did throw up on the floor in the pool room and I cleaned it up and told the lady that was at the desk that night, but apparently nothing was done that night and some of it got in the filter in the hot tub and they had to reformulate the chemicals in the hot tub before opening it the next morning so they are trying to charge me a large cleaning fee. I feel bad about the incident but also feel that is a risk you take when you own a pool/hot tub. As the parent I did what I could to clean up the mess and I honestly believe if my children had been white there would not have been an issue. I left the room spotless. I even crawled around and picked up every little crumb of

Was called by the manager at the time to troubleshoot some electrical in two of the rooms. Found the issue and sent them an invoice for a little over $200. I understand the owners name is Roger and he refuses to pay for services. He refuses to even pick up a phone to at least say "I refuse to pay you for your time because????". The current manager and staff cannot do anything to help me and will not provide me a phone number to at least call the owner. Sad display of business professionalism. Do not sleep here. Respectfully. Thank you.

Bed was comfy and we appreciated the extra pillows and sheets for rollaway bed. Room and bathroom were dirty. I liked that staff left us clean sheets for the rollaway bed. We were charged $20 extra for it when most places charge less or not at all. New to me. Breakfast was okay. I’m glad we were able to get enough before check out and breakfast was until 10am. We had egg patties, sausage patties, a waffle because batter was out, biscuits and gravy with sausage bits in it, apple juice, hot coffee, hot chocolate , and took a yogurt for the roads. You get your moneys worth but it is a cheaper option that’s for sure. Area was so so . Quiet but not the safest . Side door/entrance was unlocked when we checked in almost at midnight . Staff were nice. Thank you .

Hotel is old. Rooms don't smell very good. Rooms need to be up dated. Bed skirts are really dirty. Tv only has a few channels. Breakfast is not very good.

The Ramada is a good hotel if you are looking for a lower rate in the area. The amenities are out dated and the rooms are desperately in need of refurbishing. The shower stall was severally cracked and dirty. The TV is an old "RCA" brand that is not HD and has no access to streaming services. The saving grace for the Ramada is it's proximity to downtown Coeur d'Alene and the reasonable pricing. The complimentary breakfast was typical hotel fair, decent, but not great. This could really be a great hotel if the owners would invest some money into a good rehab.
