Wingate Hotel and Suites in West Monroe is super! The staff workrd to accomodate my family over Thanksgiving. It was exceptional.

The room was clean and quiet. I did have a laugh at the decaf coffee pods for the coffee service. Thankfully, the coffee downstairs was great.

Location was fine. Hotel conditions were poor. Dirty and run down. Mattress was not comfortable. Mattress cover was dirty and stained. Bathtub had jets. Disgusting! What hotel has jetted tubs. Bottom of tub was filthy. Thought it might have been stains. But no, it would have come up with some scrubbing. There was some gummy candies crushed into the carpet. Plain gross! Just say no to this one. Pictures don't lie.

We’re very appreciative of the pet accommodations and friendly staff. We enjoyed the hot breakfast as well. The only drawbacks are there were bugs in our room and we found also pet poop.

My stay was great! The bed was super comfy, the room was spotless, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely stay here again!

When we arrived they could not find my reservation so they put us in a king suite with sofa bed we went out for lunch and I received an email saying I cancelled my original reservation the one they said I didn't have so we returned to the hotel and the clerk found my original reservation so he comped us another king suite so no one had to sleep on a sofa bed on Saturday we went out and when we returned our keys didn't work in either room they rekeyed our keys and we went into our rooms room 221 had fresh towels but nothing else was done room 228 had been completely cleaned the staff threw out all of my sister in law bath and body works body wash lotion and perfume and all the items she had in the refrigerator and her suitcase was missing we went to the front desk and her suitcase was in the lost and found she returned to her room opened her suitcase and she was missing clothing a pair of pajamas and a new Orleans Saints shirt and insulated cup the items total $150 we have tried several times to speak with the manager but shes never in I would liked to know how this matter is going to be resolved

Room was not clean, water was brown colored and tv’s wouldn’t connect to wi-fi. Very disappointed with my stay

The front desk was wonderfully helpful and friendly. We got to know them by name.
Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffles.
The building itself needs some TLC, an armchair was missing from our room (the ottoman was there) and a light bulb needed replacement, but the front desk was working to get things repaired.
We are looking at to a return visit.
