The staff was very courteous. But there was no soap and no cups in the room and there was a square hole in the wall with wires exposed. Also my key did not work and they had to redo the battery on it.

Couldn't check into the room due to only a small percentage being pet friendly, and was only able to get something else nearby at double the rate last minute. You will need to arrange room requests outside of the booking request before staying here.

Very noisy, although somewhat drowned out by AC that was like a jet engine (but cool!). While room looked to be refurbished, there were many problems (bath door was falling off hinge, exposed shower pipe, hole in wall behind bed). Generally clean, but red spatters on ceiling. Ketchup, I hope (was this the Presidential suite?). Unpleasant all around. Couldn’t wait to leave in the morning!

The room was great, ac worked good, bed was comfortable however, one more pillow would have been great. I must admit though, I never asked for one. The folks at the front desk were a bit short with me when I asked for a receipt. Was told, I had to get it on line.

Best Motel 6
Some Motel 6s are less than desirable and I usually only stay at one because pets stay free.However, this one in Childress is likely the best Motel 6 I have stayed at. Very clean with nice side room with refrigerator table and sink Highly recommend.

Basic room at a good rate. The road noise is loud, but manageable by using the air conditioner.
